The common name ‘snapdragon’, originates from the flowers’ reaction to having their throats squeezed, which causes the ‘mouth’ of the flower to snap open like a dragon’s mouth. - Wikipedia

The snapdragon flower is a symbol of strength and graciousness.

These flowers are beautiful. The bright, rich coloured and vibrant blooms of the snapdragons stand out in a garden, and are favoured as cut flowers.
