My entry to the #monomad challenge: A Focus on Architectural subjects

It’s already Friday—lol! I’m welcoming it so early because it means just one more workday to complete before the weekend is here. I don’t have a clue where to go yet, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out by tomorrow.

Earlier, I was browsing through my photography archive, looking for pictures I could turn into black-and-white images. I actually have a bunch of photos waiting to be edited. After some searching, I gathered enough shots to showcase for my #monomad entry.

Not too long ago, I visited the MacRitchie Reservoir, and this photo captures one of the gazebos in the area. Although this particular gazebo was closed, I still tried to take a decent shot, carefully aligning it to be at the center of the frame. This type of shot is my favorite because it instantly enhances the view of the gazebo along with the surrounding elements.

In the Chinese Garden, there is a massive archway that spans about 10 meters and stands roughly three stories high. Even with the wide-angle lens on my camera, I struggled to fit the entire structure within the frame. I was also limited by the available space, so I couldn’t move back any further.

Here’s a photo that I’d say is my favorite in this set, thanks to its dramatic design. The wavy, undulating shape really adds to its striking and dramatic appeal.

A simple walkway like this might seem mundane in real life, but it looks much better in photos because of the contrast. That’s exactly what I aim for whenever I take photos to turn into black-and-white images.

Lastly, I have a bunch of photos that I played around with while editing earlier, and I’d love to share them with all of you.

Hello @curamax. I just stopped by to inform you that I will be removing my delegation to your account. I just received the daily payout and wanted to tell you immediately so you can cancel the recurring transfer scheduled for tomorrow.

I have enjoyed doing business with you. However, I'm undertaking major adjustments to my account. Thanks so much for your timely payments since our initial transaction.

Take care.

If you're like me, I have to either do it immediately or write myself a note, then try not to lose the note. Take care.
