Happy on Loy Krathong Festival with family, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Yesterday was the Loi Krathong festival in Thailand. In my district, there were activities for this year's Loy Krathong Festival for 3 days. And yesterday was the last day of this year's Loy Krathong Festival in my district. My granddaughter's school had an activity with the subdistrict municipality yesterday too. And the school sends children (Kindergarten 1 - 3) to participate in dance shows at night. This year my granddaughter represented the school in kindergarten 3 for the dance shows at the subdistrict municipality.
My wife did my granddaughter's hair and makeup for the dance show at night. She started doing the little girl's makeup and hair in the afternoon. Then we sent my granddaughter to school again to change into traditional Thai costume in the evening.

I waited alone for my granddaughter in the courtyard of the subdistrict municipality near the school. Because my wife has to take care of our autistic son at home. The courtyard of the subdistrict municipality is the venue for the Loy Krathong festival. The venue is decorated with many Lanna lanterns (Traditional lanterns from northern Thailand) in many colors. And there is a large stage for Loy Krathong Festival shows. There weren't many people in the evening.

The show of traditional northern Thai music lasts almost 1 hour. During the musical show, granddaughter and children (Kindergarten 1 - 3) in traditional Thai costumes. Walk to the venue and wait to prepare for the nighttime shows.

I took everyone to see the atmosphere at the venue and the Lanna lanterns at night, which were beautiful again.

After a while, various traditional Thai dance shows during the Loy Krathong festival began. Let's start with the show of the children in Kindergarten 1 first. Traditional Thai dance with umbrellas on stage.

There will also be other traditional Thai dance shows. But I didn't photograph the all shows. Because I had to take care of my niece after the little girl finished performing.

Finally, the atmosphere of the Loy Krathong Festival at the subdistrict municipality involves releasing large floating lanterns.

When my granddaughter and I go home. We started the Loy Krathong festival at our house again with my wife. Our son is asleep. So we floated Krathongs in a mini tank at home. And playing with mini fireworks. So it was another happy night for me and my family. For this year's Loy Krathong Festival.
