Visiting Tobacco and Corn Farm Place in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental

Greetings everyone, it was a cold early in the Morning when me and My Relatives were decided to visit tobacco plantation and some corn fields here in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental. This place was celebrating the town festival that is why we decided to visit our Relatives there and join celebrating their town Fiesta. It's been a long time since We did not do any visitation here and it was very delighted for me to do a visits. Alubijid is quitely far frim town of Manticao, it needs to travel a few hours depends on the traffic before arriving the place.

Everytime when we visited my relatives place, we also pass by in this areas were lots of agricultural plants can be seen. Some of this are tobacco plants, it can be very easy to locates because it is only near at the Provincial road. I always want to visit this place everytime I went by here but there was no time for a visit or doing some quick tour at the place, but that time my cousin invited me to explored the place and I was very happy.

It was 5 in the morning when we decided to do hiking, this is a perfect time to do exercising just like jogging or hiking instead. Our destination will be at the place were lots of tobacco plants located. As we arrived there, I seen the plants grows very healthy and big. The most interesting about this plant is it grows like a louminous particularly those young leaves. The land was properly cultivated and plowed and the soil is very fertile. This place is very cold even if it is already nearly Noontime. That is why tobacco is perfect to plant in here.

This town is very kind of a plain place that is why it is good to do farming or raising some animals. Lots of wild grass can be fed to animals and different kinds of valuable crops can be planted.

Crops and other kinds of goods can be easily to hauled because it is near at the access Provincial road. Lots of different kinds of trucks can be pass by here. This Road is very helpful to all residents here so that they can easily transport their goods to market places. During our hiking adventure, I found out that there are some of the roads that has not been yet concreted this will be a great challenge to all farmers specially during rainy seasons. The roads will become muddy or either Intense heat season to become very dusty. Aside of tobacco, some coconut plants and bananas also planted in the place. Most of it are nearly on streets. Some of it are already produced lots of fruits and ready for harvesting for the next following days. The place also contains lots of big trees and any kinds of wild plants, this is the reason why the place is very cold they did not cutting those trees down instead they keep themselves planting lots of it.

Next is the corn field, we also passing by through this wide and plain areas of corn field. Only few houses can be seen here and most of it are made of light materials just like Bamboos, lumbers, plywoods. Houses owned by farmers, they keep building their houses near at their farm so that they can keep monitoring or watching their crops. This is the season of corn planting and corn harvesting that is why most of the place here are planting lots of corns.

Early in the morning, farmers are already very busy doing their jobs just like cleaning and removing wild grass at the field. They do this everyday and they still ignored the intense heat from the sun. They worked very hard for their Family and they also gain a good results by harvesting lots of valuable crops.
