The Time When I Visited My Grandma

We are blessed with kind and loving Grandparents. They are also one of our parents. Tonight, I will share with you my grandmother's story including her favorite things to do every day. This morning I decided to visit my grandmother at her house. This is grandma Enriqueta or better known as grandma Bebe. A kind, loving, generous and very beautiful grandmother. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren and fair love to her children, sons-in-law and grandchildren. SHe lives in another Ward here in our Municipality and she is 74 years old. She has been grieving almost 14 years ago because of her late husband. Grandma had five children, and my father was the second of her children.

Grandma is diligent in household chores even though she is alone in life. The yard of her house is clean because every day he sweeps the clutter around, she also pulls out the weeds to make the whole place more beautiful and clean. Earlier, he was busy pulling weeds in her yard. This is grandma's pastime every day, cleaning and gardening. He said that the house is beautiful when there are many plants and flowers. No matter how simple it is when it is full of plants and flowers it can give beauty to the surroundings.

Because of my grandmother's efforts to have different types of plants and flowers, she succeeded. Her yard or in front of his house is surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. When plants were in vogue many people came here to shop. When it was out of fashion, no one came here anymore, but even though the plants were out of fashion, grandma still continued her traditional work. Sometimes she talks to the plants, she said when she talks to the plants they understand because they are alive. Grandma really loved her plants more, so even in her old age, she still continued to take care of plants and flowers.

Grandma's Ornamental Garden:

Now, we will take a look and see my Grandma's ornamental plants collections. She was collecting different kinds of plants many years already and this is one of her hobbies in Life.

These are her beautiful plants and flowers in the yard of grandma's house. All of this was just given by her friends and the rest was barter. Grandma is also good at taking care of them. SHe also knows the ins and outs of caring for plants including cacti and succulents. Many people look and want to barter.

Grandma said, since she was a young woman, she really liked to plant vegetables, whether it was fruit or ornamental plants. Until she got married, she still carried his passion for gardening.

My Grandma's Vegetable Garden:

Grandma is not only good at ornamental gardening, she is also good and loves to grow vegetables like this horseradish that she planted near the canal. It's as easy as getting water from vegetables. Grandma also likes to eat vegetables, so she thought about planting. SHe also has okra plants planted near the canal. The place is quite small, so she planted the vegetables near the canal to make the most of the place.

Grandma also offered this delicious and my Favorite coffee with some packs of biscuits. This are a perfecg combination of snacks for a day. Aside of that, she also gave this ripe bananas she harvested in her backyard. I was very thankful what my Grandma gave to me just like this ripe banana.

I can definitely say that grandma is very hardworking. He loved his grandchildren, children and daughter-in-law. Because of her love for us, we love grandma in return.
