A Day in My Life Blog: Thank God for this Month's Successful First Youth Joint Fellowship here in Circuit 2!🥰🤗😇
Have a Blessed Day to all ASEAN Hivers and all my Fellow Hivers all over the World! 😇
It is my great privilege to be used by God in every occasion and activities most especially in our Youth Department knowing that I am a Youth Pastor.
For today what I wanted to share is the happenings from the recently concluded Youth Alive Circuit 2 Joint Fellowship in which many Churches gathered together to praise and worship God and at the same time a moment to know other young people from other Churches.
But before I continue with the happenings of the said event, I will never forget to acknowledge as to show my full thanksgiving to all my supporters from the Community Admins, Co-Hivers and all Curators.
For this year I was promoted from Circuit level to Sectional Level in which I was appointed as the Sectional Treasurer as compared from the previous years in which I was the Circuit Leader.
With regards to the job of being a Treasurer, It was not that harder than before as I compared being the Circuit Leader is very on-hand with regards to activities but at this time, since I was the new Treasurer, I'll be focusing on finances. Still I am always ready to help every time I was needed in every fellowship.
This will be our first ever Youth Joint Fellowship here in our Circuit. We didn't have fellowship from the last two months because our organization has new officers and so the other departments and sections also have together with the Circuit Level.
I arrived at the venue by around 9:00 in the morning and only few of the young people is present. I then immediately assisted the registration table because no one is doing it for a while, thankfully one of our Church Young People helped me with the registration.
After awhile, we then officially started the fellowship around 9:30 in the morning even though only few young people is around but we do believe some are coming.
We started it with opening prayer then singing of welcome songs as we would like also for them to know each other and I can see that all of them are exited knowing that this is the first fellowship this year.
After the young people given the chance to know each other through singing of welcome songs and many more, it is now time to welcome also every Churches who are present. In this fellowship, we only have 8 Churches present a much lesser than what we expected to come of 15 Churches in total but still thankful to God.
It was now then followed by our Praise and Worship time. It was lead by the host Church which we thank and praise God for everything He did to us. We offer this moment to exalt and praise God with all our hearts and with our lives for everything we have came from God.
Now, the presence of God is within us and we do believe that He will continue working on us. It was then followed by the Word of God in which our topic for the whole year is all about "Discipleship".
We have a handout to be used so we are the same on what we share from the other two Circuits. It is good to share about this topic as this is what we wanted to be, to become a disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We just thank and praise God for we do really have learned a lot from the lesson and praying that everything we learned will not be forgotten but rather be applied unto our lives.
It was already quarter to 12:00 noon our first part of the program is over and so we have then our lunch break. We are only given until 1:00 in the afternoon to take our lunch as we will be expecting to start by 1:00 with our Games and Team Building Activities.
Finally around 12:45 in the afternoon our facilitator for the games is ready so we did it very early so by 2:00 in the afternoon we can end and go home. The facilitator divide the young people into four groups
We have few games this afternoon, the first game is played by individual first in which they were asked questions based on the topic being shared and many got the correct answer that means they've listened very well.
The main game and the last is what we called "Pinoy Hinyo Christian Version". Simple mechanics only, each group must choose a representative who will be guessing what the team member acts based on what is reflected on the projector.
This makes everyone enjoyed a lot the game and we can see also that they're doing very well and some of them immediately answered the words being guess with, and everyone indeed does very good.
Finally we have all the winners and immediately gives the prizes to them. Exactly 2:00 in the afternoon we've ended our second part of the program and it is now time for us to go home, and got home safe and very happy.
This would be all for today's post, and until next time again, I just want to thank everyone in advance who will drop by the post.
To God be all the Glory! 😇🙌☝️
Your Friend @godlovermel25
Your active participation in church activities is commendable. It's nice to see young believers also actively participating in events like this. I remember my high school years while reading and looking at the pictures. Hopefully more participants will join in the upcoming fellowship events. It is a learning experience for all the attendees.
With increasing risks of drugs and other negative influences. Engaging in this kind of activity, young individuals develop their leadership skills and strengthen their values. It also provides an opportunity to express gratitude and worship to acknowledge God's greatness. To God be all the Glory!😇
Amen. This is a great venue for them to grow spiritually and for them to avoid getting into bad things.
Your dedication and effort is truly appreciated. May this initiative continue to bring blessings, encouragement and devotion to God.
Thank you for sharing @godlovermel25. 👋🙏😇 I remembered my experience attending a Christian church before , because my aunt used to bring me with her during her worship. That was the first time when I feel valued by groups of children. Just like what you show from the pictures showing a good interaction of young people. I really admire the fellowship even though my religion is Catholic.
Thank you for dropping by. Religion is not important, for me the most important is our relationship to God. Thank you again and God Bless 😇
Everyone expresses their devotion in their own way, but it always has the power to bring about growth, kindness, and a deeper connection to life. Thank you for sharing.
