¡Hola a todos!

Como muchos ya sabrán, últimamente he estado jugando ARK más que nunca y también he dejado atrás el Albion, con todo el peso de mi corazón.

Bueno, hablando de forma sincera, no dejé de jugar Albion del todo, pero sí dejé de jugarlo con la misma medida que solía hacerlo porque ya no lo veo como una forma de hacer dinero debido a que me toma bastante tiempo hacer cantidades ínfimas y aún me falta bastante progreso para lograr conseguir algo factible T_T

Y como ahora tengo muchísimo más tiempo libre, decidí volver a mis viejas andanzas y compartir contenido en Hive y comenzar a tener la misma actividad que solía tener; por lo que el día de hoy les traigo este post acerca de ARK: Survival Evolved junto a @thisryz, @rishahp y @perceval

Decidimos jugar The Center ya que es un mapa que ninguno de los muchachos (a excepción de mí) ha jugado y les he insistido desde meses que cuando juguemos ARK por segunda vez, teníamos que probar este mapa sí o sí por la gran diferencia que tenía con el mapa base (The Island).

Para quienes no sepan, The Center es básicamente un mapa creado por la comunidad que tiene una gran cantidad de biomas y terrenos totalmente distintos a los vistos en The Island. A mi parecer, su mayor atractivo es la cantidad de contenido que hay en este, pues, es el doble de grande que The Island y también tiene monumentos y construcciones míticas.

Si recuerdan los comienzos de mi serie de The Center sabrán que el primer lugar donde construí mi hogar fue en una isla totalmente aparte de lo que considero que es la parte central de "The Center" (valga la redundancia). En este lugar hay bastante jungla y es donde están conectadas las cuevas y también gran parte de los distintos biomas que se pueden explorar en este mapa.

Para evitar el mismo error que cometí yo en mi mapa en solitario le dije a los muchachos para comenzar nuestro juego cerca de la calavera volcánica ya que me parecía un lugar con un balance perfecto entre ser pacífico y también estar cerca de lugares importantes para farmear recursos.

Por primera vez uno de nosotros decidió crearse un personaje mujer y he de admitir que @perceval tiene unos muy buenos atributos

Para esta partida decidimos jugar en el modo "Dificultad Máxima", una opción que fuerza (o intenta forzar) a todos los dinosaurios para que tengan el nivel 150 y por ende sea mucho más difícil domesticarlos o simplemente pelear entre ellos ya que todos tendrán estadísticas abrumadoras.

Esto es un arma de doble filo puesto que eso significa que tendremos altas probabilidades de tener dinosaurios que también tengan un nivel increíblemente alto, pero, por otro lado también tendremos dinosaurios temibles (como un Giganotosaurus) de nivel 150.. o al menos eso es lo que creo. No quiero imaginar tener que pelear contra un Alfa de tanto nivel o simplemente contra un Giganoto o un Carcharodontosaurus con tanto nivel.

Aprovechando que teníamos un Trike de alto nivel bastante cerca de nuestra casa lo domestiqué y lo llevé a subir aún más niveles paseando por allí. Cerca de nuestro hogar conseguí un spot donde spawnean Araneos y Titanoboas de forma totalmente anormal, puesto que se trata de un bug ya que justo debajo de donde spawnean hay una cueva (y supongo que eso es lo que hace que spawneen tantos dinos en esta zona).

De la organización de la casa y todo lo relacionado a mantener el orden y las cosas con una bonita estética se encargaron @rishahp y @perceval. Yo jamás me encargaré de construir casas bonitas en ningún juego ya que la arquitectura no es lo mío, pero los muchachos definitivamente se lucen en este tipo de casos ya que actualmente están aprovechándose de una estructura generada por el mapa y están construyendo la casa para que quede acorde con la estructura.

Aún no hay un resultado final, pero poco a poco se va notando el cómo la casa va tomando una forma mejor. No sé hasta qué punto quieren llegar, pero definitivamente será una muy bonita obra de arquitectura.

Lastimosamente también descubrimos que hay un bug que nos impide entrar a ciertos cuerpos de agua porque cada vez que lo hacemos nos teletransporta automáticamente hacia el host de la partida y nos aparece un mensaje diciéndonos que estamos muy alejados de este.

En los servidores de ARK hay una distancia máxima que se puede tener con el anfitrión, pero usualmente esta distancia es extremadamente grande (porque así lo tenemos configurado). No sabemos exactamente por qué el juego registra que al entrar en el agua estamos a una distancia extrema alejados del host. Es bastante curioso porque cuando el host también está en el agua el juego no nos expulsa, así que aún no sabemos qué sucede ni hemos podido solucionarlo.

Entre todo lo que hemos hecho están estos dos hermosos Argentavis que logramos domesticar. Esto me pareció increíble porque primero domestiqué a mi Argentavis llamado Trainer (en honor a mi anterior Argentavis de The Center) que cuando lo encontré en estado salvaje vi que era nivel 140, y actualmente está rondando el nivel 290. Hasta ahora es una máquina de matar, una versión mejorada de mi anterior Argentavis de The Center y sin duda alguna es el dinosaurio más fuerte que he domesticado hasta ahora.

Y me pareció increíble porque poco después @rishahp también domesticó otro Argentavis que es IDÉNTICO a Trainer en todo sentido. Toda la apariencia física de ambos Argentavis es extremadamente parecida y nos pareció un hermoso detalle (tienen unas cuantas diferencias físicas, pero nada de otro mundo).

Hasta ahora ha sido una total locura y la hemos pasado increíble. Estoy bastante feliz de poder jugar ARK con personas de nuevo ya que la experiencia es totalmente diferente en comparación a jugarlo en solitario, poder ver las locuras entre varias personas hace que el juego cambie drásticamente y sean más risas y fails que otra cosa.

La aventura apenas comienza ya que también planeamos hacer cosas gigantes en este mapa. ¿Quién sabe? Muy probablemente también hagamos construcciones épicas; lo único que tenemos bien claro es que aún nos falta un gran camino por recorrer.

Hello everyone!

As many of you may already know, I've been playing ARK more than ever lately and I've also left Albion behind, with all the weight of my heart.

Well, honestly speaking, I didn't stop playing Albion altogether, but I did stop playing it as much as I used to because I don't see it as a way to make money anymore due to the fact that it takes me quite a long time to make tiny amounts and I still lack a lot of progress to get something feasible T_T.

And since I have a lot more free time now, I decided to go back to my old ways and share content on Hive and start having the same activity I used to have; so today I bring you this post about ARK: Survival Evolved together with @thisryz, @rishahp and @perceval

We decided to play The Center since it is a map that none of the guys (except for me) have played and I have been insisting for months that when we play ARK for the second time, we had to try this map for sure because of the big difference it had with the base map (The Island).

For those who do not know, The Center is basically a map created by the community that has a lot of biomes and terrain totally different from those seen in The Island. In my opinion, its main attraction is the amount of content it contains, since it is twice as big as The Island and also has monuments and mythical constructions.

If you remember the beginnings of my The Center series you will know that the first place where I built my home was on an island totally apart from what I consider to be the central part of "The Center" (redundancy aside). In this place there is quite a lot of jungle and it is where the caves are connected and also a great part of the different biomes that can be explored in this map.

To avoid the same mistake I made in my solo map I told the guys to start our game near the volcanic skull as it seemed to me a place with a perfect balance between being peaceful and also being close to important places to farm resources.

For the first time one of us decided to create a female character and I have to admit that @perceval has some very good attributes.

For this game we decided to play in "Maximum Difficulty" mode, an option that forces (or tries to force) all dinosaurs to be level 150 and therefore much more difficult to tame or simply fight each other since they will all have overwhelming stats.

This is a double-edged sword since that means that we will have high chances of having dinosaurs that are also incredibly high level, but, on the other hand we will also have scary dinosaurs (like a Giganotosaurus) of level 150... or at least that's what I think. I don't want to imagine having to fight against such a high level Alpha or just a Giganototo or a Carcharodontosaurus with such a high level.

Taking advantage of the fact that we had a high level Trike quite close to our home I tamed it and took it up even more levels by walking around. Near our home I got a spot where Araneos and Titanoboas spawn in a totally abnormal way, since it is a bug because just below where they spawn there is a cave (and I guess that's what makes them spawn so many dinos in this area).

The organization of the house and everything related to maintaining order and things with a nice aesthetic was taken care of by @rishahp and @perceval. I will never be in charge of building nice houses in any game since architecture is not my thing, but the guys definitely excel in this kind of cases since they are currently taking advantage of a structure generated by the map and are building the house to match the structure.

There is no final result yet, but little by little you can see how the house is taking a better shape. I don't know how far they want to go, but it will definitely be a very nice piece of architecture.

Unfortunately we also discovered that there is a bug that prevents us from entering certain bodies of water because every time we do it we are automatically teleported to the game host and we get a message telling us that we are too far away from it.

In ARK servers there is a maximum distance that you can have with the host, but usually this distance is extremely large (because that's how we have it configured). We don't know exactly why the game registers that when we enter the water we are at an extreme distance away from the host. It is quite curious because when the host is also in the water the game does not eject us, so we still do not know what happens and we have not been able to solve it.

Among all that we have done are these two beautiful Argentavis that we managed to tame. I found this amazing because I first tamed my Argentavis named Trainer (in honor of my previous Argentavis from The Center) who when I found him in the wild I saw he was level 140, and he is currently hovering around level 290. So far he is a killing machine, an improved version of my previous Argentavis from The Center and without a doubt he is the strongest dinosaur I have tamed so far.

And I found it amazing because shortly after @rishahp also tamed another Argentavis that is IDENTICAL to Trainer in every way. The whole physical appearance of both Argentavis is extremely similar and we thought it was a beautiful detail (they have a few physical differences, but nothing out of this world).

So far it's been totally crazy and we've had an amazing time. I'm pretty happy to be able to play ARK with people again as the experience is totally different compared to playing it solo, being able to see the craziness between several people makes the game change drastically and it's more laughs and fails than anything else.

The adventure is just beginning as we also plan to do gigantic things on this map, who knows? Most probably we will also make epic constructions; the only thing that is clear to us is that we still have a long way to go.
