The Merdhampir - A New Favorite

Hi guys,

Welcome to mu blog for the third time this week. I love it when I am able to post regularly and that is what I am trying to do now. I used to post 2 to 3 post per day in the past. That was when I was hyper active on hive. Now I seem to procrastinate a lot and don’t see to find the time to post when I have to.

Today I will be writing an entry into the splinterlands social media challenge. This week I will be writing about a card that I think when positioned properly will do a lot of good for you.

So the thing is, I love discovering that we can use some cards in certain combos. Because I have a certain target before the year ends for the amount of sps and glint I can accumulate, I am not used to trying new ways of battling. As soon as I have my own strategy I stick to it till it fails to work. So using this particular card was something that just happened and ever since u find it hard not to use it.

The card is called Merdhampir. It’s a water range card which has 4 mana. I am highlighting it now cause I didn’t use it in the past and I recently started using it cause I saw in one of my random battles where an opponent used it to humble me. One thing about spl is that, you might be in all over your heard that you’re amongst the best but you can only choose your line up. You can never decide what the opponent will bring to battle.

So this card which is a range card, has 3 range attack, 4 speed and 6 health. With this much speed you wouldn’t expect it to have that much of health.

Its abilities are what makes me like it more. It has the cripple ability which means that each time an enemy is hit by a unit with cripple it loses one max health.

The other ability being snare which means when attacking enemies with flying ability it removes the flying ability and also can’t miss.

The last ability for which I love it so much is the life leech ability. This means that the units health will increase each time it damages an enemy units health by half the damage dealt.

With this factor you’re sure to have a lot of health by the time this card gets to the first position; that is if you’re playing in the close range Ruleset you literally have no problem causing by the time it gets to the first position it’ll have a lot of health.

One other advantage of this card is that even if it’s the target of your opponent it’ll still have the stamina to stay up in battle cause it’ll increase in health as long as it gets to damage the enemy cards.

If you are able to combine it with cards that restores its health as well then I think you have a killer combo right there.
