Hello community, I wanted to try something different and I decided to play this gem of game, the truth is I was quite surprised because it was not at all what I imagined. I had already had another experience with this saga in Assassin's creed Black flag and the truth was not much to my liking, so when I tried Valhalla I had my doubts, however, to see these graphical improvements and that it was about Nordic theme and wars in which the assaults are the main course.

As far as I see this game was strongly criticized for having a high cost and giving very little content, although the version which I downloaded has 16 dlc's plus 3 great content, I've been playing 2 hours and the truth has not bothered me at all. While it is true that this version as well as another we get almost by force to the assassins of all life with their respective daggers and training (which is characteristic of this saga) also the different trainings which are a copy and paste, although quite understandable for the type of content we are playing.

Doing performance test with video card corresponding to FPS on pc

It is remarkable the improvement that has this new version of Assassin's creed Valhalla with respect to the others and one of its aspects that I consider most important is the graphical improvement, so doing a performance test before playing was key. I was quite surprised by the result despite having a good video card performance came in the middle, varying many times the FPS from 40 to 70, even so I left it with the default options that has the game and still does not give me any problems, here I leave the results with my video card and FPS grace

In-game video scenes and cinematics

I'm not much for talking about these things as, although good cinematics and good video quality is something we all like, I think it's good to focus more on gameplay and comfort, however, in this game it takes on a fundamental role as there are aspects that need to be said.

The quality of the shadows, graphical aspects such as details in the face, skin smoothing and even not playing it in ultra high graphics gives me as a result these excellent images (even if the vertical synchronization is disabled for gameplay). I really found it quite incredible that even with the FPS dropping in the test (not always, only in some moments), you can see the image so well playing with so many elements in the environment that would certainly lower the FPS without the correct optimization (1 point to the developers).

Gameplay on pc

In this section I can't say that my experience was excellent, because of the configuration of my computer I can't take the pictures correctly without the character having to dodge hahahaha so taking these pictures inside the game was quite a challenge.

One of the aspects that I do find comfortable is when riding, with a resistance counter, so that when the horse gets tired we can know when to push it to run and get the most out of it.

Combat

On this topic I have quite a lot to mention. On one hand, I like the fixed target, because when you fight against a campaign boss or when you reach the end of a mission with the fixed target makes the fight a little easier to carry (especially when dodging). And dodging is another issue since the sequence of keys that they put by default is a little complicated for me as well as when counterattacking, maybe I just need a little more practice, but right off the bat I do find it a little more difficult. As for the difficulty, it is completely adaptable from the amount of damage you receive and do as well as when it comes to stealth. Which is pretty good, to adapt your game the way you want (remember that we play to enjoy), for my part I put everything in “normal” and the truth is I can not complain, I feel I have the right difficulty for a person who does not spend much time playing.

SUMMARY

This game has surprised me greatly by its graphical aspect, the gameplay is pretty good, although I would have liked to play it with a control perhaps so I would have been easier the issue of dodging goods from enemies or counterattack at the right time. It is certainly a game that invites me to keep playing it and hooks you from the first moment with its story which is pretty good, if you are one of the people who liked the series that made Ragnar and Nordic themes accompanied by the saga of Assassin's creed, this game will certainly enjoy it, thank you very much for reading me do not forget to VOTE, COMMENT AND SHARE, see you later Gamer in search of adventure.

Hola comunidad, quise probar algo diferente y me anime a jugar esta joya de juego, la verdad quede bastante sorprendido porque no era para nada lo que imaginaba. Ya había tenido otra experiencia con esta saga en Assassin’s creed Black flag y la verdad no fue mucho de mi agrado, asi que al probar Valhalla ya tenía mus dudas, sin embargo, a ver estas mejoras gráficas y que se trataba de temática nórdica y guerras en las cuales los asaltos son el plato fuerte.

Por lo que veo este juego fue fuertemente criticado por tener un costo alto y dar muy poco contenido, aunque la versión la cual me descargue tiene 16 dlc´s más 3 grandes contenidos, llevo jugando 2 horas y la verdad no me ha molestado en absoluto. Si bien es cierto esta versión al igual que otra nos meten casi que a la fuerza a los asesinos de toda la vida con sus respectivas dagas y entrenamientos (lo cual es característico de esta saga) tambien los diferentes entrenamientos lo cual vienen siendo una copia y pega, aunque BASTANTE ENTENDIBLE por el tipo de contenido que estamos jugando.

Haciendo prueba de rendimiento con tarjeta de video correspondiente a FPS en pc

Es notable la mejora que tiene esta nueva versión de Assassin’s creed Valhalla con respecto a las otras y uno de sus aspectos que considero más importantes es la mejora gráfica, asi que hacer una prueba de rendimiento antes de jugar era clave. Quede bastante sorprendido por el resultado a pesar de tener una buena tarjeta de video el rendimiento llego por la mitad, variando muchas veces los FPS desde 40 a 70, aun asi lo deje con las opciones por defecto que tiene el juego y aun no me da ningún tipo de problemas, aquí les dejo los resultados con mi tarjeta de video y la gracia de FPS

Escenas de video y cinemáticas dentro del juego

No soy mucho de hablar de estas cosas ya que, aunque una buena cinemática y una buena calidad de video nos gusta a todos, creo que es bueno centrarse más en la jugabilidad y comodidad, sin embargo, en este juego cobra un papel fundamental ya que hay aspectos que se tienen que decir.

La calidad de las sombras, aspectos gráficos como detalles en la cara, suavizado en la piel y aun no jugándolo en gráficos ultra altos me da como resultado estas excelentes imágenes (aun estando desactivada la sincronización vertical para la jugabilidad). De verdad me pareció bastante increíble que aun cayéndose los FPS en la prueba (no siempre, solo en algunos momentos), puede verse la imagen tan bien jugándose con tantos elementos en el entorno que sin duda bajarían mucho los FPS sin la optimización correcta (1 punto a los desarrolladores).

Gameplay en la pc

En este apartado no puedo decir que mi experiencia fue excelente, por la configuración de mi computadora no puedo tomar las fotos correctamente sin que el personaje tenga que estar esquivando jajajaja asi que tomar estas fotos dentro del juego fue todo un desafío.

Uno de los aspectos que si me parecen cómodos es a la hora de cabalgar, con un contador de resistencia, para cuando se canse el caballo podemos saber cuándo presionarlo para correr y sacarle el máximo provecho.

Combate

En este tema tengo bastante que mencionar. Por una parte, me gusta el blanco fijo, ya que cuando peleas contra un jefe de campaña o al llegar al final de una misión con el blanco fijo hace que la pelea sea un poco más facil de llevar (sobre todo a la hora de esquivar. Y el esquivar es otro tema ya que pro la secuencia de teclas que le pusieron por defecto se me hace un poco complicado asi como a la hora de contraatacar, quizás solo me hace falta un poco más de práctica, pero de buenas a primeras si se me hace un poco más difícil. En cuanto a la dificultad es completamente adaptable desde la cantidad de daño que recibe y haces asi como tambien a la hora de hacer sigilo. Lo cual es bastante bueno, para adaptar tu juego de la forma que quieras (recordemos que jugamos para disfrutar), por mi parte puse todo en “normal” y la verdad no me puedo quejar, siento que tengo la dificultad correcta para una persona que no pasa tanto tiempo jugando.

RESUMEN

Este juego me ha sorprendido enormemente por su aspecto gráfico, la jugabilidad está bastante buena, aunque me hubiera gustado jugarlo con un control quizás asi se me hubiera hecho más sencillo el tema de esquivar mercancías de los enemigos o contraatacar en el momento justo. Sin duda es un juego que me invita a seguirlo jugando y te engancha desde el primer momento con su historia la cual es bastante buena, si eres de las personas que le gusto la serie que hicieron de Ragnar y de los temas nórdicos acompañado de la saga de Assassin’s creed, este juego sin duda lo vas a disfrutar, muchas gracias por leerme no te olvides de VOTAR, COMENTAR Y COMPARTIR, hasta luego Gamer en busca de aventuras.
