4 Star Tristana! Nerfed But Still Strong! TFT - League of Legends
Hello all, I continue to play fully motivated in TFT and my cluster is rising. I am now very close to the gold rank. I will probably be in my next game and I might even be there by the time I share this post. Who knows? In TFT, something is buffed or nerfed in every patch, today I will share with you a composition that is strong even if it is nerfed.
You can watch my gameplay here without commentary:
The universe of this game is the Sump. In this universe you cannot earn interest gold. Instead you earn 3 gold each turn. So it's a universe that completely changes the gameplay. Level 8 is going to be a lot harder to get to and there will be a lot of people dying early because people are playing more aggressively. You won't see a 4 gold champion being made 3 stars because you won't earn as much gold.
I keep adapting to the meta, and in a universe where we're going to get less gold anyway, this augment of Ezreal will give me an extra 3 gold, plus I'll get 3 item components. I don't know if I had a better option. This augment allows me to keep playing flexible.
In the early game I couldn't choose which composition to play, but I had a good start for the Tristana composition. My items and champions were good for it, so I chose to play this composition. I know, I don't have interest gold, but I still wanted to save some gold. I lost a lot of lives because people played aggressive, but with the 5-loss streak I got some extra gold. If I use it well, I can profit from it.
For the 2nd augment I wish I had a better choice, I still needed gold and a small champion duplicator to make my champions 3 stars. So I chose Ezreal's augment. I got 3 item components, 15 gold and a small champion replicator. I need to do something because if I stay slow I will die without winning any rounds lol.
I wasn't so lucky in the midgame either. Even though I spent my gold I couldn't make my champions 3 stars. My opponents were all playing very aggressive and that's the right thing. I have 38 health. From now on every round I lose is one step closer to death.
After I made my champions 3 stars, everything got better. I got to level 6 and created the basic composition. I activated 3 Yordle, 2 Gunner, 2 Shadow Isles, 2 Bastion buffs. 3 Yordle buffs made Tristana 4 stars. If you have 3 3 star champions, your 3 star Yorlde champion becomes 4 stars. This makes Tristana very strong. Tristana's best items are the ones you see right now. Giant Slayer, Last Whisper and Hextech Gunblade. You can already see the damage she deals. It looks very broken, doesn't it? A lot of champions in this composition have been nerfed haha.
The last augment choice is Long Distance Pals II, which I explained before. In this composition, I chose this augment for Tristana and Viego because they are both 3 stars and can do a lot of damage. When they share stats with each other, they will both have very high ability power and attack damage, which is great.
In order not to lose tempo, I leveled up to level 7 as soon as I had enough gold and put an Ekko on the board. Ekko activates both Rogue and Zaun buffs. My opponent is a Demacia composition with a lot of 3-star champions. Now that I beat even him easily, I'm really strong.
I also managed to beat my opponent with the highest health, even if it was hard. Tristana's damage is really tremendous. Other champions are also contributing well. Apart from Tristana's items, you can give your tank items to Poppy and Maokai. You can give your ability power items to Viego and your attack power items to Jinx. Especially if you make Jinx 3 stars, he will do a lot of work. Or you can give it to her temporarily and give them to Zeri in the future.
At level 8, this is the board I want to reach. I'm activating the 4 Gunner buff, so Tristana will gain more attack power per attack and destroy enemies. I also replaced the Heimerdinger with Teemo, which you can use as a tank if you choose the turret's repair feature. This functionality is very important.
My opponents were so strong that if I didn't use Zephyr well, they would both beat me. You can see them beating me above. Luckily this time I used the Zephyr well and beat my strongest opponent. It was a really tense game. Tristana is a strong composition but not as strong as before. So you have to apply some strategies well.
In the last battle my opponent was playing the Challenger composition I showed you earlier. You already know how strong he is, but I used a good tactic against him. Even though it was very difficult, I managed to levitate both of his carriers using Zephyr, so they both joined the battle late. Honestly, this was the best I could do and if I lost this way, I had no other option haha.
My tactic worked and his Yasuo died before he could do any damage, and Yasuo is a real pain in the ass in this composition. He's always going near your carriers and bothering them. It's very annoying. As you can see, 2 star Senna also played a big part in my win.
Tristana is one of my favorite compositions in TFT lately. It's not easy to play and if you get blocked by someone you can end the game badly. But if you play alone and make the right moves, top 4 is guaranteed. Thanks a lot for reading, I hope you liked it. Have a great day and keep playing!

Hi! Your post caught my attention, I'm new to the community and I'm checking out some posts. I consider myself a gamer as well but on a lower level as I haven't played as many games as I would like to.
Anyway, this game you are talking about looks quite fun. I would like to try it, although I don't know where I can get it or if you have to pay to play it. I used to play World of Warcraft. I like the mode of that game better. Cheers!
Hello and welcome to the Hive Gaming community. Here you can share your adventures and thoughts about the games you play.
The game I play is Auto-chess. In this game you place your characters on the board and they fight automatically. Your goal is to find more of them, increase their level and strengthen them with items. The game is free and you can play it by downloading League of Legends or Teamfight Tactics on mobile. Let me know if you would like to learn more.
Hello, I really like your gameplay! I've been playing three seasons ago, and when I came back, I found myself completely clueless. I will follow you from now on, TFT interests me, and you play well. 😄
There's also something I don't understand. When arranging your board based on the opponent's board, how do you decide which path to take and how can you be sure that the opponent will end up where you want them to?

Thank you so much, I'm doing my best in this game and playing it for years.
I simply place the tanks in front and the carriers in the back, but it takes a while to learn their actual strategic positions. Sometimes you have to surprise your opponents 😎
Yo! I've been playing the shit out of this set. The legends make a great addition for testing out comps and the portal mechanic is such an awesome skill ceiling popper.
Btw since you play yordles, have you seen a 4-star sell strat? For some reason, 4-star yordles sell for an insane amount of gold. Kled sells for like 45 gold or something. It's crazy what you can do with this tech. Although I gotta warn you, it's hard to pull the strat off if you don't have a golden ticket augment.
Hey, welcome to Hive, how did you find Hive? I suggest you to write an introduction post to yourself. I've never try to sold anything 4 star. Sounds interesting, might be try but not logical imo.
Hey man, to be honest, I don't remember. I found this site a long time ago I just never bothered making an account until now. Recently, I've been thinking about making content around TFT and then I found you haha. I don't like talking about myself much, is this introduction post thing a mandatory thing or something?
Scratch that Yordel tip, they fixed it today in the 13.13c hotfix haha. It was broken with the Golden Ticket interaction. Infinite rolling and infinite money.
It's not mandatory but people can trust you better if you do it.
Of course they will fix everything :P
