Assassin's Creed Mirage - First Look.
I lost interest in both AC Origins and Odyssey in a very short time. Then I played Valhalla for somedays but I lost interest in that game after reaching Alrekstad. I'm still not 100% sure why I lost interest in those games cause they seemed good. They had good stories, they had good graphics but I still didn't feel like continue playing them.
I guess its because of the repetitive loop in those games or maybe because I'm too fond of the Templar stories. Now that I tried Mirage for the first time, I'm having a good feeling about this game though I played it for a short time, like I just worked on a part of the intro.
Someone named William Miles was narrating at the beginning where he was talking about Basim living many lives and that he has much to teach them. The Arabian vibe and the location, Baghdad seemed beautifully merged.
William Miles mentioned Basim was a little thief scrambling to survive on the streets of Baghdad when he first came to them. Basim was dreaming of a better future but not just for himself, but for all those he saw suffering in the margins.
William Miles was fearing of the time coming soon when they'll be tested as Basim was.
The narration stopped and it was Basim in his early age having a nightmare of a drop of blood fell on his face and waking him up. He found himself in a dark place and he was drowning in dark sands.
Then there came this terrified Jinni in his dream that's been haunting him since his childhood. Basim feared that the creature might one day break free of this nightmares.
This girl named Nehal not only woke Basim up, but also saved him from the Jinni in the nightmare. Nehal had been at Basim's side for as long as they could remember.
After talking about the Jinni for a moment, Basim started talking about some Dervis leaving another contract and he showed this stone to Nehal that had the Assassin's sign on it. Nehal didn't like for Basim to work for them as they don't make enough money with those works but Basim accepted it as his sense of duty.
So the name of this city is Anber which is/was Province of Baghdad and it was 861 CE (the time of the concept). I had to follow Nehal to somewhere in this first chapter named "The Master Thief of Anber".
I started exploring around and checking on the free run features in this game while following Nehal and it felt a lot convincing than the last three installments (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla). I followed her till we reached this great gate of a fortress.
There they had a conversation about the contract Basim was working for. Nehal was asking Basim if he think himself some hero of tomorrow where Basim replied in negative saying he's merely the son of a public servant and he said he was honored that Nehal think he can reach such heights.
I was getting trained there in the market. Nehal was teaching me how to steal from peoples 😄😁. This is funny for sure but pickpocketing is a special feature in Assassin's Creed game from the very first installment.
I failed to steal from the first man there and he called guards so I hid in the haystack there. Then I noticed the guard was asking what happened and their reactions seemed a lot normal and realism than the previous 2/3 installments.
I tried stealing from a lady and I failed there as well. She called the guards and I had to escape the guards now but I decided to fight them and they killed me as they were armed and Basim was just a thief without any special training.
The guards were still after Basim at the restart so I had to escape them and now I had a good experience with the free run that I really liked in this game. I should tell you that I didn't like the free run in Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla.
After escaping the guards, I went to meet Dervis who's the messenger of the Assassin's and he was like recruiting Basim. They had a conversation about the next task and about Basim's Fee where Dervis said they won't talk about it until the deed is done.
Dervis left the place giving me a new task which was about stealing some ledger but I was more into exploring the open world now and after doing some free run, I went to the river side.
I tried to see how well I can swim and I even noticed some big fishes in this thin river there. The diving style of Basim looked cool.
Then I jumped on a moving boat that a civilian was rowing and I just noticed the area after the desert was not unlocked for me.

All the in-game screenshots are taken by me except for the game's logo that I collected from the internet.
I love the great landscapes that can be captured in this video game, without a doubt, you can find wonderful things in it.
I can sense that, bro. Let's see if I can continue playing this one at least.
Absolutely gorgeous. I wish my PC could handle this beauty...lol
Damn, bro. Guards seems to be more brutal, maybe you need to take up some job other than pickpocketing xD
I thought you could play it as you play Hunter in a good graphics but now that I just checked the minimum requirements of both games, I noticed AC Mirage needs a lot better system than Hunter. I hope you can try this someday soon.
Well said there 😀or I might just need to have the gears of an assassin to fight them.
Yeah, some game ask for too much depending on the complexity of scenes and optimization. theHunter is not demanding at all but Mirage will give quite a tough time to my old GTX 1050 2GB VRAM GPU.

This one seems to be better than the previous ones, and it has some incredible views.
Yes that's what I'm thinking as well.
