Games I expect to see in the blockchain world

People who have been in the blockchain world for a very long time might want to see their favorite projects on Hive. Not just projects but games play a very important role in the future of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. I think there is a huge potential for the big gaming companies to enter this industry and reward their players in the form of cryptocurrencies. There are already a few small games doing that but imagine games like Dota 2 entering the crypto space and what if people can earn money by playing games?

In this article, I'm going to talk about the games that I think can be very good to have on blockchain along with the capabilities of cryptocurrencies.

Tycoon games

The first type of game in this list is the tycoon game. I'm a huge fan of Tycoon games. I have played a lot of such games and Zoo Tycoon and Sim City are the most favorite ones for me. I liked those games because they taught me management. They provide the opportunity for us to trial and error many outcomes and learn the real-world challenges in management. The good thing about these Tychoon games is that we can start and play the games with multiple combinations. The way we play the game decides our winning potential and outcome.

These days there are Tychoon games available but they are never-ending. I don't like such never-ending games because they get boring after a point. Games with goals are good to play and interesting to play.

Age of Empires

I don't remember how many hours in my life I have spent playing Age of Empires. This is again similar to Tychoon games because we can do farming and we can also do battles by training troops. We have the full freedom to decide on how we want to play the game. If the game is against another individual, that is when we have to plan a strategy and win the game. I have played both single-player as well as multiplayer games. After becoming a developer, I have always wanted to build a game similar to Age of Empires.

RPG games like Diablo

This was my next craze. People who have played RPG games and Diablo II will know what I'm talking about. I'm not sure how the experience was for the later version of Diablo but back then there was a limited number of RPG games and the feeling that Diablo II gave me was an unforgettable experience. I remember playing this game during the night time and it was very scary to complete some of the levels in the game. The biggest advantage in this game was that there was an end line and a story and if we travel through the story we can reach the end line. That's how I want the future games to be.

Competitive multiplayer games

Today technology has improved so much and many innovations are happening around games. People want to compete with each other and that's where the need for multiplayer games is higher. Pubg and other battle royal games promote multiplayer gaming experience and imagine if that is enhanced with the facility we have with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. Players can get rewards and they can compete with each other. This industry has a huge scope in the entertainment category.

Yes, yes, yes.

I'm bitterly disappointed with blockchain games as they're nothing but pathetic. I'd love a SimCity or Age of Empires game that truly pushes blockchain gaming.

It is just a matter of time but I am seeing the game world taking over the Blockchain world and it is getting so rapid

The competitive multiplayer games will be better
If we play against each other, it will be more interesting and human instead of playing against robots all the time

The idea of major games like Dota 2 entering the crypto space is particularly intriguing, as it could revolutionize how players engage and are rewarded. The mention of tycoon games, Age of Empires, and RPGs like Diablo evokes nostalgia while also pointing out the need for innovation in gameplay mechanics. With the rise of competitive multiplayer games, the fusion of blockchain could create new opportunities for players to earn while enjoying their favorite games.

Games without ending gets boring to me after a while but can be interesting at times because you get to experience new levels

You are absolutely right this time we will see gaming projects become more popular in the bull market and even within the older projects we will see their prices increase as people within these things.

I also share your vision of video games, but if you earn for playing a game would not be profitable for developers, would have to have more security the game if what you mean that is a game with a currency of exchange as is word of warcraft or RuneScape, but I don't think it's wrong that I think that if there would be a way to implement it and create an infrastructure in the game that works as both the currency of exchange as jobs and work that rewards the player and change it in real life would be ideal, but with other games apart from the RPG would be the most ideal dream that this comes to be done.

I really just wish the entire spectrum of blockchain games can advance a little faster... But I think everyone is still working out the kinks but heck I wont mind some big titles finding a way to switch to blockchains! It's really something to look forward to!

Age of empires type of game would be cool to have around here. I'd most likely play those kind of game than the games all around blockchain that we currently have.
