Ancient wisdom
Life, in its crudest form, tends to remind us how fleeing it is.A week ago, my home became the stage of a battle against the dreaded COVID-19 virus. The days became a succession of discomforts, fever and, sometimes, hopelessness. However, in the midst of adversity, there was an opportunity for reflection and rediscovery about what really matters in life.
Each of us experienced symptoms that not only affected our body and our mind.He walked the house a feeling of vulnerability, a reality that we often ignore in our daily lives. However, in these moments of weakness, a renewed sense of appreciation for health began to emerge. We realized that, often, the bustle of daily life moves us away from the essential: vitality and well -being.When health looks threatened, each respite feels like a gift, every moment of well -being becomes a jewel that we yearn to rediscover.
In the midst of this sanitary storm, the reality of medical resources emerged as a challenge. However, in that restlessness, ancestral wisdom shone with a renewed light.Medicinal plants, those allies forgotten by many became our salvation. We knew of their healing power, legacy of past generations that understood the link between nature and our well -being.
Eucalyptus infusions, honey and ginger syrups, and the comforting Salvia became our best allies. These simple but effective solutions reminded us that, despite all modern medical knowledge, nature has its own cure arsenal. Thus, we found comfort in the ancestrality, in the connection with our ancestors that, without sophisticated resources, knew the secrets of the Earth.
This experience has left us a valuable lesson: the importance of assessing health, connection with the nature and power of the community. We cannot predict what the way forward will be, but what we know is that in every difficulty there is an opportunity for growth and recognition. The trip to healing, physical and emotional, continues, and we do it with gratitude in the heart, knowing that there will always be a path to recovery, either through modern medicine or the wise remedies that the earth gives us.

Such beautiful pictures!! And I love what you say about the healing powers of plants
Thanks dear.Plants have such great power that we do not know ...
Hello @maylink. A pleasure to meet you. Thanks for deciding to Follow my Hive journey. In reading several of your posts, I get the feeling that you are connected to nature and practice this with your knowledge of plants and herbs. One thing you were right about is when adversity hits.
For instance, during storms and hurricanes, we lose electricity. Panic sets in. Without prior knowledge of survival tactics and how to cope utilizing methods I knew decades ago from my parents, we would be stressed. In addition to modern electrical appliances that offer convenience, I also store manual items that accomplish the same tasks. Also, candles are a godsend.
Thanks for sharing your reminder post. I appreciate it.
