Scuba Diving in El Nido, Palawan
Hi everyone, and especially the Outdoors and More community. It's been a long time since I've posted here, and I realized it stayed on this draft for a year already. It's time to revisit this draft and update you on what happened during this underwater adventure.
Many times I have visited El Nido and I had the time to stay in Puerto Princesa, Palawan for 2 years. I was lucky to visit El Nido and the goal was to do scuba diving one day.
I was done with all the island tours offered in El Nido. I visited a dive shop and met the manager with whom I acquainted a few years ago.
Scuba Diving in El Nido, Palawan
I was a solo traveler. Although I had an underwater camera it was better if somebody took photos of me. So, these photos were provided by the underwater photographer in El Nido, Palawan. I paid $50 for this service. Well, no regrets.
Our guide was Filipino and he was nice to me. I was with two girls from other nationalities. I forgot where they came from.
For this scuba diving trip, I paid $80 for three dives. For one day, we went to three different diving destinations.
I always have trouble going down. I tried to deflate but my ears were hurting. It took me 15 minutes to go down. Our dive guide was patient with me.
When I managed to go down, I became a happy mermaid.
Here's a friendly sea turtle that was always ready to strike a pose with scuba divers. One proud moment here.

Here's a video I compiled for this trip. I must say I was truly blessed to scuba dive in this wonderful underwater adventure. The Philippines has the best diving spots in the world. Yes, I am biased. Hahaha!
