I love receiving things in the mail... well, I'm pretty sure that everyone does! Even if I know that a good chunk of it will be things that I've ordered for myself... bottles of wine, violin bows, cases, strings, boxes of beer, music scores... that sort of thing. But somehow, the act of buying and the receiving (most of the music related stuff is from overseas and so the shipping time can range from a week through a month or so...) is so separated in time that it is still a bit of a surprise when things do finally arrive!

...but this was a nice special package in the mail from @silversaver888! I had seen a post about @silversaver888 who was making HIVE rounds... I have some STEEM rounds from before the community fork... ah well, at least they are still silver... and I had some HBD just sitting around, so I figured it would be really nice to pick up a HIVE round to add to my little collection of things!

Actually, I couldn't wait to open it up... my wife was in the supermarket picking up something, and I immediately opened the package to have a little bit of a peek inside! Oooooh, promising! But I would just wait until I got home before I took a closer look... I was afraid that I would drop them in the carpark and they might just roll down a gutter or something... Probably wouldn't, but you never know!

... and back at home! Two nice and shiny HIVE rounds to add to my silver stash! I do like the simple button design, very nice and clean! I'm definitely keen to see a 2024 or 2023 community designed round again... I think the last one before the community forking was a really cool one with everything burning down around us (was that design from @dfinney?)... I really liked that design, and would be keen to have a chance to purchase one of those!
