Adapting to Modern: Prepare to Get More Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards Part 16

Prelude
Welcome back to another new post on Adapting to Modern where I look at how I crossed over from playing in Wild Battles till today on Modern Battles, sharing with the community the struggles, the strategies and things I do to move towards playing in Modern. Having a substantial amount of the Soul Bound reward cards is important and we should always be aiming to gather and level them up as fast as possible so that we do not get into disadvantaged situations when battling. In recent match, I find that I struggle alot when my cards are of lower level than my opponent's.

End of season is upon us in about 5 days time and the bonus glint that we earned through winning ranked battles will be released to us to make more purchases of chests and cards draws. I have accumulated 40k-ish Glint, though not a large amount, I think still able to purchase a substantial amount of chest or do card draws. The more I use the epic cards, the more I am in love with them, so I might consider proportioning out a portion Glint to do specific epic draws.

Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards

This week I didn't open any chest or activate any draws in view of end of season coming up, might as well gather up and open up some epic card draw. So far every epic card that I own, I love them. Maybe I should even just pull more to level them up first as they have been instrumental in my gameplay as of late. So getting more Soul Bound reward cards is the way to go.

Today we will continue looking through another 2 new soul bound rewards card from Death Splinter of which both are common cards. So let's begin today's sharing.

Broken Earth Thug

First card that we will look at today is the Broken Earth Thug. I always love playing Little League using death splinter. They have loads of cards that can be considered and used for Little League and this card is a good addition. So far I have plenty of cards that are in the magic attack category but for melee with opportunity is a little lacking and so happen Broken Earth Thug fits the bill. As this card levels up it gains cripple which is good for whack those cards that have high armour. A very good utility card which offer scaling of attack slowly all the way up to 3 attack and with good speed. A little squishy but with Ravenhood Warden offering some additional armour, it will gain better survivability and do what it need to take out smaller cards.

Ujurak Brave

Next card to look at will be yet another death splinter common card, Ujurak Brave. My initial thoughts will be, since I already have Harklaw, why do I even need an additional immunity card and worse, it can't be used in Little League. But as I dive deeper into it's levelled up abilities, it does have opportunity to be a good card especially with the silence. With typical death summoner Thaddius Brood being used, having an additional silence in the lineup can further reduce the impact of magic attack on your lineup, and if you have a tank that has void, most magic cannot go past you. But while this is good, it will probably be more situational and might not do you good in every game. So it is a good weapon to have in your collection but might not be utilized in every match.

Assessment
My take and assessment will be that the two that is reviewed today, one of it higher use case than the other. Broken Earth Thug definitely will be better position than that of Ujurak Brave due to possible other immunity card in death splinter, but still have a trick up its sleep to reduce opponent magic attack.

In terms of rating, Broken Earth Thug 3.8/5 region for its versatility and more usable case as compared Ujurak Brave will only get a score of 3/5.

As I do up the review of various cards from various splinter, I continue to learn more about the cards and also help to share what I've learned about these cards to the community so that we can all know more about these cards.
