Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Fire & Regret

Hi friends of the hive community and the hive Ghana community, this is my entry to the splinterlands social challenge for this week. Happy new year and I am excited to be sharing my battles with the splinterlands community again this week.

Ruleset and Its Meaning

This ruleset is the fire & regret ruleset which means that all units have return fire (returns 50% of ranged damage to attacker, rounded up).

Summoner and Team Choices

I chose this earth summoner, Obsidian which would have given all my cards +1 magic.

My Opponent's team selection

My opponent brought a death summoner which took 1 health and 1 magic from my cards.

Round 1

---

My opponent's summoner removed 1 health from all my cards and 1 magic but luckily for me, my summoner restored the 1 magic removed. The battle then started my opponent's first card (Cursed Windeku) attacking my first card and my first card attacking my opponent's first card. My last card attacked at some stage in round 1 and died because of the return fire. This added 1 health, 1 speed and 1 magic to my healer (Goblin Psychic). My second card (Fungus Flinger) attacked and died as well adding 1 health, 1 speed and 1 magic to the first card and the healer.

Round 2

My Mycelic Slipspawn quicky killed my opponent's first card and my healer followed the same pattern by quickly killing the second card.

Round 3

The higlight from this round was my opponent's last card (Dhampir Stalker) died from return fire from my first card.

Round 4 and Round 5

---

My opponent lost the remaining 2 cards in these rounds. One died in round 4 and the other died in round 5.

---

I won this battle after 5 rounds and with the help of the 'fire and regret ruleset'.
