Faust, known to his followers as the Archon of Dusk, was a feared and revered figure in the Realm of Shadows. As leader of the Dark Eternals, Faust aspired to a world where suffering did not exist, an absolute peace that required the sacrifice of all life. His dark lineage, a mix of human and demon, gave him extraordinary power over black magic, and his revenant nature granted him supernatural resilience, preserving his existence through the centuries.

But behind his imposing appearance and cold ambition, Faust had a weakness: cats. Particularly, a yellow-eyed tabby with a cunning gaze that he called Tofu. This cat, much more than a simple pet, was Faust's most faithful companion. The Archon was so fond of him that he granted him the gift of undeath and kept his soul in a black crystal box, ensuring that Tofu would live eternally with him. But Tofu was not alone. Always traveling with him were Miso, a grey cat with a voracious appetite and affectionate with those close to her, and Nori, a small white cat with an innocent look, although she possessed surprising intelligence for her size.

When the demonic forces of Chaos attacked the fortress of Ahna Chei and destroyed the sanctuary of the Dark Eternals, Faust was forced to flee to the Wailing Swamp. The battle had left his territory in ruins, and in the midst of the confusion, the felines fled, preferring the dry and fertile lands of the Republic of Fireboro.

In Fireboro, Tofu assumed an unusual role for a cat: he became the leader of a small group of dissidents loyal to Faust. Their goal was clear: restore their master to his throne and allow him to reclaim control of the Shadow Realm. Though his magical abilities were limited compared to Faust, Tofu was an exceptional strategist, and his companions, Miso and Nori, had talents that complemented his plans. Miso was able to infiltrate guarded locations thanks to her incredible ability to turn invisible in the shadows, and Nori could manipulate the thoughts of small rodents and birds, gathering information essential to their plans.

The first phase of their mission was to recover the Dark Codex, an ancient manuscript containing rituals to restore Faust's power. To do so, Tofu and his allies snuck into Fireboro's Black Library, a place forbidden even to sorcerers. Miso distracted the guardians, while Nori, with her small size and speed, found the manuscript hidden in a sealed vault. When the group finally escaped with the Codex, they knew Faust's return was closer.

In the days that followed, rumors began to spread about the return of the Dusk Archon. Many doubted the veracity of these stories, but little by little, a shadow of unease began to haunt the inhabitants of Fireboro. Tofu and his group of cats followed his movements in the darkness, always alert and with the same fierce determination as their master.

Finally, the time had come. On a moonless night, Tofu led a ritual deep in the forest, using the power of the Codex and his eternal bond with Faust. As he spoke the ancient words, a dark energy rose from the earth, echoing through the valleys and mountains, awakening the creatures of the night and announcing the return of the Dusk Archon.

Faust, freed from the shadows of the swamp, returned with more power than ever, and at his side, his faithful companion Tofu, who had proven himself to be a true warrior of the Dark Eternals. Together, Faust and his loyal cats marched into the Shadow Realm, determined to restore their rule and unleash a new age of darkness. But now, they knew that the devotion of these small feline allies was as powerful as the magic they had summoned, and that with them, no enemy could stop the return of the Dark Eternals.
