Splinterlands - Fire Splinter, My Favorite for Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak Battles

Hello Friends,

Well, each One of us will have One or the other Splinterlands summoner or monster as favorite cards, like I have Quora Towershead which becomes more bloodier than any other Gladiator monsters.

Likewise, we have favorite splinters for specific rule sets and my favorite for Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak is the Fire splinter for the reasons I am gonna explain below.

Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak battles are more won with melee attack monsters and when it comes to melee, obviously, we would love to have more melee attack and Tarsa summoner comes to help as it can increase the melee attack by 1 and also the health as well.

It's not just increasing the melee attack, but also reducing the same from the monsters used by opponent and monsters like Disintegrator and Legionnaire Alvar will come to our rescue.

It also helps us if we can keep all the attack from opponent's monsters towards One monster and we can keep increasing the health of that monster and Iidri Fyre i best suited for the battles with rule sets mentioned above.

And to add to that, if we can use a monster like Ferexian Hero, we can not only have it's huge Melee attack, but can also add melee attack to Iidri Fyre as Ferexian Hero is a reach monster which can induce the weapons training to reinstate the melee attack for Iidri Fyre.

When it comes to melee mayhem and super sneak, I always feel good with Fire splinter because of monsters like Antoid Platoon, Forgotten One, Grum Flameblade, Arkemis The Bear are some of the awesome Ones and gets us wins more often than the losses.

Each of these mentioned are having special abilities.

Antoid Platoon, with it's huge armors, shield ability and the scavenger ability, can be a tricky customer and when there is no magic monsters allowed, this guy is my go to man as he will be very difficult to get out.

Forgotten One is normally used mostly for noxious fumes rule set as it has the immunity ability to avoid getting poisoned, but this monster is way better than just for noxious fumes battles, because, he is a tough guy with retaliate ability and can penetrate the armors with it's piercing ability and can take out a monster with it's huge melee attack of 6 when maxed out.

Likewise, we have Grum Flameblade which is a blodlust monster who can take less magic attack, can attack with double amount of attack if the monster it attacks is having 10+ initial health.

Considering all the points mentioned above and also considering few other Ones, I fought a battle recently and I am sharing the same here including the details of lineup.

https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sl_040abb600cbe81f59b56d6f938f3be96

The battle had good MANA cap of 53 and had melee mayhem rule set along with unprotected and aimless as other 2 rulesets.

Considering the huge MANA cap and also the melee mayhem rule set, I used the monsters as below with Tarsa as the summoner.

Lineup:

1. Iidri Fyre:

Like I said above, Iidri Fyre can soak out all the pressure of attack by attracting the it attack towards it because of it's taunt ability.

Although this battle had a aimless rule set as well, I still used this as it can evade the attacks because of phase ability, it can thro fire when a ranged attack monster attacks it, it can even reduce the armors/health of a monster once it dies as it has redemption ability as well.

2. Ferexian Hero:

Ferexian Hero is the reach ability monster which can induce melee attack to the adjacent monsters if those are non attacking with it's ability of weapons training and can evade the return attacks from retaliate, thorns etc. as it also has the ability of reflection shield.

3. Antoid Platoon:

Whenever I see a melee mayhem or super sneak or no magic attack battles, this guy will always be there because of it's abilities of shield, scavenger and it's armors will also be a plus.

4. Forgotten One:

Forgotten One is my favorite for the 2 types of battles I repeatedly mentioned above because of it's huge melee attack, retaliate ability along with piecing of armors it can do and when it comes topoison battles with noxious fumes, it can be a gritty customer.

5. Arkemis The Bear:

I started using this monster off late and even upgraded it to level 8 now just because I got beaten by this monster on umpteen times.

This guy can reduce the attack because of it's halving ability, it can take less attack when a 5 or more attack monster attacks it as it will get just 1 health reduced and can even build armors for all ally monsters.

6. Disintegrator:

Lastly, I used this demoralize ability monster which reduces melee attack from opponent's monsters by 1 and can retaliate, trample and can even attack with double it's normal attack on a monster which is stunned.

The lineup was good and opponent too had a good bunch of monsters used, but, the Fire brands I used were victorious in the end.

Here I share few screenshots from the battle:

I am sure by now, you would have understood why I say the Fire splinter is best when it comes to melee mayhem and super sneak battles.

Infact, I won more battles with these rule sets with the Fire splinter with the set of monsters I explained and I will urge you to use this combination.

That's it for now, catch you guys soon.

Thanks and Have a good day :)
