Zing Fanart: Healer of the Ocean!

We are just a few days away from the final day to claim the bonus Holodust, and I hope you’re all making the most of this opportunity. While I’m not entirely sure about the mechanics of Holodust yet, what we do know is that it will be required for crafting items in the game. Additionally, there’s no information available about the amount of Holodust needed to craft a single item, so I can’t say for certain whether the 152 Holodust I’ve collected will be enough to craft the items I’ll need to keep playing the game. I really hope it will be sufficient.

Regarding my Holozing fan art, it’s been a few days since my last creation, so I decided to make another one tonight. This time, I wanted to create a version of the Healer of the Ocean in casual wear, so I gave her a running jacket; the kind of outfit one might wear for a walk along the ocean.

Drawing Process

Sketching

I was asked some time ago if I could create a timelapse animation to show the process of my sketching. This got me wondering whether my iPad has the tools to record my screen while I work. It turns out that it does, but when I tested it, I found myself feeling self-conscious about what I was doing. That’s when I realized I struggle to multitask while drawing—it completely disrupted my flow. As a result, I haven’t done any screen recording yet. Maybe once I’m more comfortable using Procreate (the drawing app), I’ll give timelapse recording another try.

Linework

Lately, I’ve noticed that I’ve been really enjoying working on the linework. I think it’s because this stage helps me determine whether the character has all the necessary elements to make my fan art clear and recognizable.

Not sure about Holodust either but it's probably made in a way that wouldn't give significant advantage to anyone. Some have already reached 200 holodust while others haven't gotten to 150 yet.

True. Maybe it's just one requirements in crafting an item and dust is probably something you can collect from somewhere in the game.

Now I'm excited about the alpha launch :D

As for what we will actually do with Holo Dust is a mystery hahaha...

But I'm happy to be catching it every day. I'm very curious to know if the quantity we're getting could be enough to create these game items.

You have an incredible gift for art, you did a great job!
