Antes de que el año termine quiero compartir un proyecto de último momento con ustedes, fue algo no planificado y me hizo feliz hacer algo con temática de Navidad, porque no he tenido tiempo de plantearme en todo el mes hacer algo para mi o para mi casa.
Éste es el proceso de cómo arregle e hice algunas mejoras al vestido que utilizaría la hija de una vecina muy querida durante el 24 de Diciembre.
El vestido era una prenda heredada así que ya tenía algún tiempo de uso e incluso algunas partes dañadas; lo que decidí hacer fue bordar canutillo y mostacilla color plateado y rojo para resaltar el diseño de copo de nieve, adicional a eso fabrique una nueva capa para la falda de tul plateado con escarcha dorada, y agregue para completar un nuevo cinto de color rojo brillante.
También retire todas las partes dañadas y remendé los pequeños desperfectos en la tela 👏 ✅
Aprovecho esta oportunidad para probar un nuevo formato y manera de compartir el proceso de las cosas que hago, estoy pensando en la manera de hacer más disfrutable estas pequeñas historias de mis días creativos 👉👈 ¡espero les guste! 🥰

Before the year ends I want to share a last minute project with you, it was something unplanned and it made me happy to do something Christmas themed, because I haven't had time to consider all month to make something for myself or for my house.
This is the process of how I altered and made some improvements to the dress that a dear neighbor's daughter would be wearing on December 24th.
The dress was an inherited garment so it already had some time of use and even some damaged parts; what I decided to do was to embroider silver and red beading and mustard to highlight the snowflake design, in addition to that fabricate a new layer for the skirt of silver tulle with gold frosting, and add to complete a new bright red sash.
I also removed all the damaged parts and patched the small flaws in the fabric 👏 ✅
I take this opportunity to try a new format and way to share the process of the things I make, I'm thinking of a way to make these little stories of my creative days more enjoyable 👉👈 I hope you like it! 🥰

Las personas que tenemos habilidad para las manualidades o los trabajos de costura y bricolaje tenemos la posibilidad de hacer feliz a otras personas, de ayudarlas y resolver ciertas situaciones de que otra manera no tendrían solución.
Este año estoy agradecida por ser capaz de reconocer el valor de algunas de mis habilidades, que antes veía como algo "normal", o incluso algo que no mereciera la pena celebrar o apreciar.
Me hace feliz darle nueva vida y una segunda oportunidad a las cosas, como el caso de este vestido.
Todo puede mejorarse con la medida justa de amor y cuidado. Mi vecina estaba muy contenta con el resultado y yo pude registrar el proceso para compartirlo en Hive 🐝 💚 ✨

Those of us who are skilled in crafts or sewing and DIY have the ability to make other people happy, to help them and solve certain situations that otherwise would have no solution.
This year I am grateful for being able to recognize the value of some of my skills, which I used to see as "normal", or even something not worth celebrating or appreciating.
It makes me happy to give new life and a second chance to things, like the case of this dress.
Everything can be improved with just the right amount of love and care.
My neighbor was very happy with the result and I was able to record the process to share on Hive 🐝 💚 ✨

What a transformation!! You really dazzled this dress up and gave it a whole new beautiful look. Such a great idea to add red to it and help make it pop with the red ribbon. Adding the tulle really brings everything together so well. I’m sure your neighbors will be asking for your assistance again 😄.
