Making a crotchet choker for myself ❤️ In preparation for a wedding 💃

Hello my fellow needle workers
It's such an exciting day and I'm so excited to make a post in this community
It's been a while though
Today , I want to share with you the steps on how I made this crotchet rose choker for myself in preparation for my cousins white wedding tomorrow

I'm quite close to my cousin and preparation for her wedding was something exciting and I was really to do all it takes to look beautiful and presentable. Her wedding is something we've anticipated for a long while how and it's a thing of Joy that she's found a spouse for herself, so in preparation, I decided to make this lovely choker with wool for myself, although the choker could serve different purposes, either as a necklace or as a bracelet, they both look amazing

So these are the materials I used in making this neck choker :
My red wool
My knitting pin
Scissors
Measuring tape
Needle and thread etc

And these are the steps I used in making it
Firstly I rolled my wool around my index finger to allow easy access to it when I'm knitting .
I then started knitting chains , I didn't count the number of chains, rather I used my measurement tape ,
I did a chain of 70cm length

When I got to 70cm I made another chains , a total of 60 chains specially for the rose

To start fully, I skipped a total of four chains and inserted my knitting pin into the fourth chain and did a double crotchet

And then I did a total of four chains and still inserted with a doubled crotchet into the same hole

After then I skipped another four chains and inserted a doubled crotchet into it

Again I made four chains and inserted a doubled crotchet into the same whole

I continued that way till I got to a total of 15 edge hole and then I proceeded to the next step

I turned my wool and started working with the edge holes , I knitted 5 doubled crotchet into the first hole

And then I did two chains to create a sharp edge

And again, in that same hole, I knitted another five doubled crotchet in it

I moved to the next hole, I did a total of 5 doubled crotchet, did 2 chains and another 5 doubled crotchet

I proceeded that way till i completed all the holes

At the point,I was almost done, and to finalize it, I did another chains to the size of the first one I did that is 70cm

After this, I carefully wrapped the work and it was gradually giving me the rose shape I wanted

I then picked up my needle and sewed it till it was firm
And that was all concerning the choker

I wore it round my neck and it gave me this lovely look

Even when I used it on my wrist just to try something else i thought, it still turned of nice

This choker served different purposes but I really made it for my neck and I can't wait to use it tomorrow

I hope it looks nice though
Thank you so much for stopping by my post , I'm really grateful 💜
Have a beautiful day everyone ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Two purposes in one design, that’s creativity. This is so pretty. Great job.
