The amazing beauty of Tubod Cold Spring

Because of social media ,we can discovered different places,hidden beauty of nature.
A lot of times I saw some post about the Tubod Cold spring ,many called this cold spring as The enchanted river in Leyte.

The enchanted river in Siargao,Philippines was been popular and since we are far from it,people here called this as our version of the enchanted river.

First thing I like about Tubod cold spring is we can see where the water came from,it is came from under the big tree as what you can see on my photo above.Unlike the other river that we don't know what's above .

Anyway ,it is a 20 minutes drive away from the town of Matalom ,Leyte Philippines and since this cold spring is not yet fully develop ,there's no signage at the road going to this spring but you can ask whenever you came at the kiosko.
Kiosko is well known on this municipality in where the people here and from the nearly places are visiting here to do their laundry and for swimming in the cold river located at the side of the highway road.From there ,you can ask where the way to this cold spring.

This is not passable for any vehicle but there are ways that you can ride your motorcycle but we don't know it so we used to walked more or less 20 minutes from the highway road going to this spring.

It is an exciting adventure when we passed their little bridge going to the spring but all the sweats we released from our body during walking was all worth it when we came at the Tubod Cold spring.

Literally,it's cold it is like your having a swimming in a water with a lot of ice haha.Its a crystal clear water in which you can see the small stones.It really makes us to feel relaxed when we touched the water.

When we visits the cold spring ,we saw the owner of this area cleaning the sorroundings because of many garbage from the people who visited here.I feel bad and sad for those irresponsible people who are not taking care of the nature.
This cold spring don't have an entrance fee but we make sure to clean as we go.

Since this place is not yet develop ,no stores ,no tables yet.You have to bring your own food but again be sure to keep your garbage .

We got a chance to talked to the owner of this land and he said that the municipality ,Barangay captain already talked to him about this cold spring.
