A Story Behind this Missionary's Journey | An Instant Family from Afar | QUINALE BEACH 🏖️
Hi everyone 👋
Wazzupp?
How's your day going?
Hope your all having a great day!
QUINALE BEACH It was around 4 pm when we reached Quinale Beach and the sun slowly setting down but still the surrounding is still an amazing view to look. This is the front part where I took the photo when I was already at the white sand beach. This place is also famous because of one of it's characteristics is "the white sand" but it's not my bet the ocean haha it's still dirty since it had a flood days before. But that is not truly the focus of what I'm about to share to you guys.
One thing I can describe is that indeed nature can be a blessing for everyone to reconnect and have a fellowship that someday or maybe later turn to memories 🤍
In the first picture, that was me, nanay Ladia, Pastor Jose and Reverent Mark Silvers, a Missionary from U.S.A. Who is your guess of who is the Missionary there? Well obviously haha the one wearing a sando shirt the blue one that is he is. Reverent Mark Silvers is the Spiritual father of our senior Pastor, pastor Jose. He was young back then and had a mission here in Bohol. It started when Mark Silvers called pastor Jose for an electrical matters to be fixed since Pastor Jose is an electrician that's how their friendship began and the relationship of pastor Jose to the Lord. Mark Silvers is one of the foundation or pillar of the church GCBC on how it grows and how God works in each of our lives, and that is one of the reason why Mark Silvers is here in Phillipines last June 27, 2024. He travelled along with his son Mick.
THE REASON
So how did it happened that I was there? what is the connection of my story to the story I'm writing right? So here it is. Nanay Ladia the one in the first picture, ask me if I can assist her throughout the preparation and even in dishes as the missionaries arrived and so without hesitation of course I said yes because I really want to help them, I've been working for them since then they help me financially and I have no reason not to pay back a help right so that's it and since sir Mark is the first who arrived then that's the reason why we had a bonding at Quinale Beach since there's no more enough time because of the upcoming lunch fellowship we had.
Meet the eldest and youngest grandson of our dear Senior pastor, pastor Jose. They're having a quality time playing in the ocean they're so cute to watch, they're closeness is so priceless 🥹
I was about to mention this at the top, but I almost forgot I had their photo too, so that time it was June 28, Mick the son of sir Mark celebrated his 31st birthday, that is one of the reason why we go out for a special bonding. Mick is straight English speaking while his father can fully understand and speak Bisaya coz he lives here in Bohol before for 2 years, me is having a nosebleed whenever he talked hahaha not just fluent english but he's too fast to talk haha anyway he's a good company though..
Meet ate Leah, the daughter in law of pastor Jose and myself hehe, you can see now the white sand I'm talking but the edge part is so dirty that's why I didn't dare to swam out there haha just a photo opportunity in this place because I don't know yet when will I get back here hehe but the memories here will forever remain 🥺
Meet Jireh Luke, the cute little one, this cute boy reminds me always what kind of ate or sister I am, and that is to be a humble and caring one to my brothers as well as to any other kids. He's just so funny to be with and even in calls haha he had already a phone and somewhat in school he even called me and asked me what am I doing hahah very funny boy, he seems like a mature one.
A memorable event and bonding that will forever be cherished. A little while I talked to myself, what do you think is the reason why Jess that you had this experience in your life at your situation right now? Hmmm maybe God is preparing you for something, something that is part of His Sovereign plan for you and for your better future as He promised in Jeremiah 29:11 that's what makes my mind.
I learned in the life of Sir Mark, He did really sacrificed just to spread the good news and He even gives time and effort for God's ministry? How much more me that I am yet young people but still young to be a missionary right? That is how amazing God's work sometimes we don't understand but later on we tend to realize oh maybe this is what God's plan and He is just preparing me or helping me to understand that He is in control of everything.
In overall, I'm so blessed and thankful for this opportunity that I had meet Mark Silvers and even his son. Maybe someday I can visit their place. Sir Mark is such a wonderful person I've met, he's a joker and he even appreciates me and that makes my heart full of love and praise to the Almighty One!
Hope you guys enjoy reading this, I know you will be blessed too as you read this, remember always to put smile 😊 in your face wherever you go and whatever
Sarap mgbeach dyan mam.
Yes po sir hehe
That's still better than the plastics scattered along the shore, washed away from the ocean. The beach on your place is beautiful and serene, that's blessed.
Definitely. This place is one of the famous tourist spot too because of it's white sand
Amen to that, Jess!
Yes ate, glory to God!
