Life Audit | How My Year Has Been So Far

Life Audit. This word has stuck in my mind lately as 2024 is coming to an end. How has life been so far? My dear hivers, I hope you're in a better place.

This year has brought me so much change and opportunities. I'm immensely honored for each and everyone I've came across, the adventures and leap of faith I've taken is this year is undeniable. One of my greatest blessing is my workplace because it allowed me to grow and explore my strengths, as well as acknowledge things that i need to improve. It has molded me into a better individual by giving me opportunity to take more responsibilities.

However, it feels like a double edge sword as I'm unable to balance work and life. This year, i got more sickly, not the fatal kind (thank God) but the kind where I loose my appetite and sleep because of the demands of life. I feel like im loosing my gist in life. I get coughs and colds easily too. Is this what I want in the long run? Im not quite sure..


In my personal life, things are not that dramatic. But I notice that I now have less time spending with my family and love ones. On week days, Im almost always late going home from work. And on most weekends, I'm either doing some unfinished work, reading, or doing other things by myself.

I have to admit, i'm not getting any younger and I have to decide, quickly, what kind of life do I want in the next few years. Time is ticking, and we know it.

So next year, I would like to spend more time doing adventures, foster relationships, and take more risks.


Likewise, I hope we may not forget to be gentle on ourselves next year. To spend time wisely and have more time with nature or wherever it is that makes us happy. May we always learn how to spot simple joys in our everyday mundane lives.



Above all, let us continue to learn new things- about ourselves and everything else. Because we are growing and ever changing.
