A Magical Dinner, The Wave and an Illuminating Stroll

Here in Central Florida folks have the opportunity to try out restaurants you haven't tried before because they may be too pricey or perhaps not one you would have considered otherwise. I'm sure other cities worldwide have similiar opportunities.

One of the cool yearly offerings the Orlando's MAGICAL DINING and this one was presented by ORLANDO HEALTH.

We chose to have dinner at the HAVEN Kitchen which is located at the Lake Nona WAVE Hotel. The hotel itself is exceptional and not too far from where we live in Kissimmee.

We were there a few months ago for a company function my employers set up by there and Tiffa and I had taken the opportunity to walk through it and wanting to come back and have dinner there one day.

Well, the time came and we took full advantage. We hope to bite the bullet one day and stay the night and although we won't get a discounted stay like we usually do for other hotel or resort stays because of our jobs we are looking forward to treating ourselves one day and stay at least one day and night and enjoy the hotel and everything that goes with it for a full day.

Specialty Drinks and Three Course Dinner Menus

My choices

I chose to drink the Bee's Knees. It was very good but I wasn't looking to drink alcohol but I wanted to taste this concoction and I'm glad I did but only drank half and it wasn't part of the Magical Dining discounts. Tiffa doesn't drink alcohol so I went solo on the specialty drinks.

My first course was the Chicken Meatball Provencal.

My main course was the Grilled Half Chicken

My dessert choice was the Olive Oil Cake

OMG - all of it was frickin delicious.

Tiffa's choices was The Heirloom Tomao Burrata, the Local Fresh Pasta and the Ricotta Beignet.

Of course we tasted each others dishes as couples do. We were highly impressed with our meals and each other's.

Another awesome thing about the hotel is their SCULPTURE GARDEN and at night is awesome.

It was an amazing way to end the month of August and this summer overall has been memorable including the family getaways with Tiffa and her stepsons, Tiffa's and my just us road trips and some fun dates with just her and I.
