The power in love is greater than the strongest force on earth, where love abounds everything settles, faults are overlooked and limits are broken. Thousands of men put together, can not achieve what love can achieve in a second.

Most of us will think because it is love, it shouldn't come with pains or sorrow, but true love always comes with a test, it has a very big price to be paid. Your love is never complete if you can't overlook the wrongs of those you love even without them apologizing. Love is free, no amount of money or beauty can afford love. Love is also divine, it is something that is eternal, something that can't just be terminated just any time, it endures time, and it endures difficult moments.

The truth is love requires a lot of sacrifices, as many will have it said," the language of love is sacrifice". If you are not willing to sacrifice, don't love, and the funniest part is we can't escape love, why? Because it's something that comes naturally.

The Story

I have this neighbor who has a daughter supposedly 28 to 29 years old. Right from my childhood, I have been hearing women making complaints to my mom about her daughter. Now I am grown and it seems it's even worse.

The mother is someone who is struggling, her husband died some years back leaving her with four kids. Life is hard for her yet she tries her best to see that her children go to school and don't go hungry.

A few months ago, that daughter I mentioned earlier, fell in love with a guy who promised to marry her. Her mom withstood the idea for reasons known to her. She tried many times to speak sense into the lady to no avail.

The daughter one night packed her belongings and left the house, without anyone's consent, the following day, we sought her everywhere but couldn't find her. Down here, we don't fancy reporting cases to the police so much, except it is very critical, the reason is the police instead of helping you, will start looking for how to extort money from you.

Some weeks later, we heard that she was in the neighboring area, with the love of her life. It hurts her mother badly because she thinks something bad must have happened to her. The mom verified the information and it was positive. She was even surprised that the lady was with a child.

One night, the lady came to the house, broke into her mother's store, and packed some foodstuff and household utensils without anyone knowing. When the mother came to check her goods in the morning, behold, they were tempered with. She felt very bad because things were difficult for her and the goods were not even hers. Rumours have it that her daughter was seen in the house that night and she was seen with a bag taking a bike.

Her mom called her to confirm if she was the one who committed the crime but she denied it and even insulted the mother. For the first time in my life I saw the tears of a mother. My mom comforted the old woman and gave her hope.

To God be the glory, she chose to overlook the girl's wrongs, it was not up to two weeks that we heard that she went and collected a loan and bought some goods for her marriage. Which she was planning without her mother's consent. She also gave the love of her life part of the money and they squandered it.

The young man smokes, drinks, beats the hell out of this girl almost every day when he comes home and worst of all doesn't do any reasonable work. she is the one feeding him with food that she often goes to their house to steal.

Little did we know that she had not been remitting the loan she collected. The money kept accumulating until they started looking for her with the police. During that period she had complications with her pregnancy it was so intense and the young man fled leaving her hopeless and helpless, she had no option but to return home.

When she did, her mom had compassion on her seeing her condition, she rushed her to the hospital and paid the bills. well, she lost the baby but her life was preserved. After everything in the hospital, the same mother gave her money to start up a business and two of them started paying off the loan she collected to give her lover.

The young man was a scam, he never had plans of marrying her, he just used her to get what he wanted and the goods she bought for the marriage preparation, he sold some out only a few were recovered.

The love of a mother is the greatest form of love I have ever seen on earth. If I were in the shoes of the mother, I don't know if I could take the lady back, well if I did, I am sure I would help her pay debts that I didn't partake in.

What inspires me so much is the fact that despite all the lady did her mom still forgave her and took her back. I was expecting the mother to turn her back on the girl and say you are disowned but she acted differently. When love is involved, wrongs are overlooked.

Now the lady is changed, I am still surprised at the miracle. Love is too powerful, it can transform lives if it's given the chance. The last time I and the daughter spoke, she was seriously lamenting over her wasted days. My prayer is she doesn't go back to that kind of lifestyle again.
