CRIED BUT IT WAS WORTH IT #LOH 206

My brothers were always calling me lazy because I literally could not do anything on my own, I had my eldest sister to run to all the time I needed someone to wash my clothes, when I am hungry or sick until she left for school. I was then Left with my three brothers who would not waste a time to pick on me as a lazy child, it was so bad that I would start thinking to myself if truly there are my siblings ( are you guys truly my brothers?).

Until one day, one of the days I would never forget, my dad sent me to the market to buy food stuffs and cook for the house.( I was like is this man serious at all?) Every dick, Tom, and Harry knows I cannot cook and he is sending me to the market, to do what? All the same I went to the market feeling bad, I came back to the house started cooking and after everything I served my father my dish our should I say cousine 😂🤧.

He finished eating and gave me #50 (fifty naira) I was so glad because my dad praised me, my brothers came back from a wherever they went to ate the food and just said it was ok 🤨just like that. Someone once said

No matter how beautiful you are you can never hear it from the mouth of your brothers.

Same applies to the food I cooked they never said thank you, not even you tried.

While cooking that soup I had thoughts running through my mind, what if this food doesn't come out well, should I just leave this food and run out of this house? Those and many more were the thoughts running through my mind, until I made up my mind, according to a popular Nigerian celebrity “all die na die” and it came out perfectly. From that day till date I can be confident and beat my chest to say I can cook 😂 (only what I can eat🥴).

I literally laughed at the part where you were contemplating running out of the house, thankfully your dad made sure that didn't happen.

Very interesting life -story. Your dad deserves applause because he wanted to make you independent. I also couldn't cook, fire used to scare me a lot but when I moved out and started living independently, I had to learn everything. My father never praised me for anything, he didn't even say thank you or you did a good job. I am glad that your father praised you and appreciated your effort...
