Es ist so weit, mein erster HivePUD steht an!
Am 31.03.2022 habe ich meinen ersten Beitrag auf der Chain verfasst, nun bin ich also etwa einen Monat hier und nutze diesen HivePUD-Beitrag für ein kleines Resümee dieses ersten Monats on-chain.

Vieles ist für mich immer noch sehr neu und beinahe täglich stellen sich neue Fragen.
Welche Tags soll ich für diesen oder jenen Beitrag verwenden?
In welcher Community soll ich etwas schreiben?
Was ist "Curation"? Woher kommen eigentlich die Rewards? Was ist Witness?

Dank einigen sehr engagierten und hilfsbereiten Hivians bleiben solche Anfängerfragen nie lange unbeantwortet. Vermutlich haben genau diese Fragen schon x Neulinge vor mir gestellt, aber niemand reagiert genervt, alle antworten mit einer Engelsgeduld.

Da ich bestimmt jemanden vergessen würde, verzichte ich auf die Nennung einzelner Nutzer. Stattdessen will ich allen aktiven Mitglieder der D-A-CH-Community, allen Legendary Dragons und allen Upvoter, Rebloger und Kuratoren, die mich bei meinen ersten Gehversuchen hier so großartig unterstützt haben Folgendes sagen:

Der erste Monat

Als ich meinen Vorstellungsbeitrag und meinen ersten Fotografie-Beitrag schrieb, hatte ich keine Ahnung, was mich hier erwartet. Völlig naiv sprang ich mitten ins Getümmel und fing an andere Beiträge zu kommentieren, drückte ein paar Mal auf den "Follow-Button", nahm an einigen Verlosungen teil und entwickelte erste Ideen worüber ich hier schreiben könnte.

Gesagt, bzw. gedacht - getan. Ich versuchte mich an Beiträgen über Splinterlands, startete meine Artikel-Serie "Achtsames-Wochenende", nahm am Meme-Contest der GmbH teil und machte einen Post für die Pinmapple Karte.

Die Splinterlands Beiträge haben noch Luft nach oben und ich werde mich da in Zukunft auf die wöchentliche "share your Battle Challange" beschränken und bei dieser wenigstens ab und zu mitmachen.
Meine Serie achtsamens Wochenende werde ich fortsetzten, auf die Beiträge habe ich zwar bisher keine grossen Votes erhalten, aber diese sind auch nicht meine Hauptmotivation - so schön sie auch sind 😇 - nein ich möchte mit den Beiträgen Bewusstsein für Themen schaffen, welche aus meiner ganz persönlichen Sicht wichtig sind.
Der Meme -Contest war echt lustig und ich werde bestimmt wieder mitmachen.

Dann war da noch Pinmapple... Mein Artikel über einen nahegelegenen Skulpturenweg fand sehr viel Beachtung und wurde fleißig gevotet. Für mich unglaublich, nach so kurzer Zeit schon ein solcher Erfolg.
Da mein Beitrag so viel Anklang gefunden hat, wäre es nicht sehr klug da nicht am Ball zu bleiben und wenn ich mir die Pinmapple-Karte rund um meine Region so anschaue, dann sehe ich da noch viel Raum für weitere Artikel.
Dabei ist mir vollkommen bewusst, dass dieser eine Beitrag ein Ausreißer war und ich kaum damit rechnen kann, dass weitere Publikationen so viel Beachtung finden werden.

Durch das tägliche Gewinnspiel von @kryptodenno kam ich schliesslich noch in den Genuss meiner ersten HBI-Shares, danke auch dafür!

Fazit

Ja, was bleibt unter dem Strich? Wie soll man überhaupt bewerten, was bleibt?
Klar, ich könnte einfach schauen wie sich meine Wallet entwickelt, aber das ist nicht, was mich antreibt. Natürlich sind die Rewards eine tolle Sache und ich freue mich über jeden einzelnen Vote, aber Geld war noch nie mein einziger Antrieb.
Vielmehr merke ich, dass das Verfassen von Artikeln viel kreatives Potenzial bei mir freisetzt. Und das ist die wirklich tolle Sache: Es macht einfach Spaß!
Es warten noch viele spannende Themen, über die es sich lohnt, nachzudenken und zu schreiben.

So werde ich meine Reise hier auf der Chain fortsetzten und ich bin gespannt, wohin mich dieser Weg führt!

Which tags should I use for this or that post?
In which community should I write something?
What is "curation"? Where do the rewards actually come from? What is Witness?

Thanks to some very dedicated and helpful Hivians, such beginner questions never remain unanswered for long. Probably x newbies before me have asked exactly these questions, but nobody reacts annoyed, everybody answers with an great patience.

Since I would certainly forget someone, I refrain from naming individual users. Instead I want to say the following to all active members of the D-A-CH-Community, all Legendary Dragons and all upvoters, rebloggers and curators, who supported me so great during my first steps here:

The first month

When I wrote my introduction post and my first photography post, I had no idea what to expect here. Completely naive, I jumped right into the fray and started commenting on other posts, hit the "follow button" a few times, entered some raffles and developed some initial ideas about what I could write about here.

I tried my hand at posts about Splinterlands, started my article series "Mindful Weekend", participated in the GmbH meme contest and made a post for the Pinmapple map.

The Splinterlands posts still have room to grow and I will limit myself there in the future to the weekly "share your Battle Challenge" and participate in this at least from time to time.
My series mindful weekend I will continue, on the contributions I have received so far no big votes, but these are also not my main motivation - as beautiful as they are 😇 - no I want to create awareness for topics that are important from my personal point of view.
The meme contest was really fun and I will definitely participate again.

Then there was Pinmapple.... My article about a nearby sculpture trail got a lot of attention and was diligently voted. For me unbelievable, after such a short time already such a success.
Since my contribution has found so much appeal, it would not be very wise there not to stay on the ball and when I look at the Pinmapple map around my region so, then I see a lot of room for more articles.
I am fully aware that this one article was an outlier and I can hardly expect that further publications will find so much attention.

Summary

Yes, what remains at the bottom line? How can you even evaluate what's left?
Sure, I could just look at how my wallet is doing, but that's not what drives me. Of course, the Rewards are a great thing and I'm happy about every single vote, but money has never been my only motivator.
Rather, I find that writing articles unlocks a lot of creative potential in me. And that's the really great thing: It's just fun!
There are still many exciting topics waiting, which are worth thinking about and writing about.

So I will continue my journey here on the Chain and I am curious where this path will lead me!
