Introduction
Integrally involved with the life of a sweet Bengali. Apart from sweets, the tradition of Bengali Bangaliana is very incomplete. Thirteenth Parvan in the twelve months of Bengali, is always there. Similarly, the sweet festivals that fill the taste of Bengali jing on the day of Puja Parvan, but not just the face of the tradition of Bengali history, have introduced a variety of sweet Bengalis to the world in a new form. Just as 'Rasgolla' took Calcutta to another level, so did Sitabhog, Mihidana give Burdwan its prominence, and at the same time make Shaktigarh, the adjoining area east of Burdwan, famous by its 'Lancha'. All these sweets have made Burdwan a historic city. Various temples, mosques, educational institutions have made Burdwan a city of history, starting from Curzon Gate to various cities. Similarly, Sitabhog Mihidana, Shaktigarh's Lancha has taken Burdwan to another level.
The history of langcha sweet
Lancha's origins can be traced back to the marital relationship between King Krishnachandra and the royal family of Burdwan, as evidenced by the eminent writer, novelist Narayan Sanyal's novel 'Rupamanjari'. I have explored the history of the sweet industry in my own terms by collecting various information from the novels of eminent writers such as Burdwan city and Shaktigarh in Burdwan.
The family of King Krishnachandra of Nadia district in the Indian state of West Bengal was married to a son of the king of Burdwan. After marriage when the daughter-in-law of the king of Burdwan had pragnant. At that time he was not getting any taste after eating any food. His reluctance to eat everything. The daughter-in-law does not want to take the food at all, despite the fact that the girl's mother-in-law, the queen of mother, has come up with various delicacies to please her son. After spending some time like this, one day Queen mother said to her mother-in-law, mother, you used to say, what do you want to eat now? The daughter-in-law shyly replied - 'Lancha'.
The queen mother was shocked to hear the name Lancha! He seemed to fall from the sky. This time he was very interested to know what is Lancha again? The bride can't say anything then. The next day, the bridegroom's husband whispered to her. 'Lancha' is not the name of a special dish. Before the marriage, the girl ate a sweet while she was at her father Krishnachandra's palace. Then the sweet name is forgotten. The sweet that was made by the artisan had a lame leg. Made by that lame dessert maker: He wants to eat sweets but he can't say anything out of shame. Queen mother immediately secretly gave the news to the king of Burdwan. Upon hearing the news, the king of Burdwan immediately instructed a faithful horseman to hurry to the river. As soon as the king's instructions were given, the faithful horseman set out for Nadia. With the permission of King Krishnachandra of Krishnanagar in Nadia, the lame man was quickly taken prisoner.
The king of Burdwan donated land in the village of Barashul, four crores east of the city of Burdwan, in that lame Maghrab. The house was flooded. Lancha-sweet art was established. The shop was located at Shaktigarh village on the national highway, a short distance from Barashul. Every day, from Moira Vienna, the various sweets are being supplied to the Burdwan palace. In this way, launchers are popular in Shaktigarh by spreading rumors in the hearts of the people. This has made the hall delicious. The story of the advent of langcha sweets.
The taste of langcha sweet
Launcher's wonderful mind-blowing heavenly taste is drowned in the juice of this story like Taitumbur. The history of Lancher seems to be incomplete without this story of Sri Narayan Sanyal's Rupamanjari. It is as if you are eating a lancha filled with great taste filled with this juice. Just as the fragrance of the heavenly Parijat flower fills the mind and soul, so Shaktigarh famous langcha has made Shaktigarh famous, so it is only to make Burdwan historic by taking place in the manikotha of the people.
Numerous launcher shops on both sides of the national highway. Shaktigarh has been a resting place for many ages. The reason is that if you take the National Highway No. 2 to Shaktigarh, there are numerous lancher shops on both sides of the road, so there is no car to stand here for a little rest and after entering any one of the lancer shops, you get a lot of peace of mind.
They get heavenly satisfaction by eating Sitabhoga and Mihidanad along with eating lunch.

The popularity of langcha sweet
Visiting the Lancha of Shaktigarh and the Disgusting Visit to the famous Lancha of Shaktigarh. If you want to go to Shaktigarh by rail, you have to get off at Shaktigarh station. The station premises have been beautifully decorated. Shaktigarh station seems to have taken on a new color with its artistic craftsmanship. As soon as you get down at Shaktigarh station, there is an excitement to taste the launcher. Shaktigarh is located in the East Burdwan district in the Indian state of West Bengal. This power is truly a junction station. This station is a busy station under the Calcutta Railway system. If you take the Kolkata Durgapur Expressway or National Highway No. 2, you can see this Shaktigarh. However, after getting on the train, he got down at the station and walked two minutes to GT Road. There are two langcha mahals on either side of that GT road. Although there are some launcher shops around it
In all, about 60 or more shops, large and small, exist in their glory. There is a lot of history involved with each store. The way the name of the shop is written in big letters on the signboard of each shop is obvious to everyone.
Lots of popular celebrities, celebrities starting from the great hero Uttam Kumar, the great heroine Suchitra Sen. Starting from the established artisans of the society, many people have eaten the langcha of any shop and their pictures and signatures carry the tradition of that shop.
Uttam Kumar enters every shop. Pictures of many popular celebrities from Suchitra Sen can be seen on the walls of the store.
In order to lose oneself in the lancher, lancha has become a thing of the past and has become a part of everyone's mind. That's why you have to take the national highway. There are many launcher shops on both sides of the national highway. This Shaktigarh seems to have been the resting place of a small mind for a long time. There is no car that does not stop here to pick up two bars and enter any store to eat lunch and tie some snacks and think of their favorite faces. Apart from taking two bars here, he also enjoys this famous dessert which is associated with the culture of Bengal.
