Wednesday Walk to the Dim sum!!!

We finished a project at work, a little tricky and difficult but we completed it! It took a week, then I had Monday to review it, and finally it was completed staff work.

Completed staff work is a management principle where subordinates or staff members study a problem and present a solution or recommendation to superiors in a complete and executable form. The superior then only needs to review and indicate approval or disapproval of the completed action.

My staff was totally excited and wanted to celebrate. We have an hour, and the fastest that we can do is a dim sum lunch. And we could eat using chopsticks!

They say that when it comes to dim sum places, you can tell that a restaurant is good if local Chinese people patronize it. This restaurant is such a place.

Service here is fast. As soon as we were seated, the carts came bearing all goodies!

Dim sum restaurants have a unique serving method where servers offer dishes to customers from steam-heated carts. All we have to do was point (or name) to the dish.

It took only 15 minutes; we had all the food and tea we wanted and started eating!

Very yummy looking, lot of that fried food class that we forget to eat all to often! It looks like you had a great time, and the food looks amazing!

I don't go out the eat that often. I bring lunch from home. Once or twice a month I do eat out with staff.

It's cheaper to bring your own lunch. Convert the savings into paying off the mortgage or into some more silver!

Wow, that looks pretty delicious. You can't really beat this kind of food or Mexican food for a fast good meal. I don't know if I have ever had dim sum before.

I will have to keep that in mind. My wife and I like some Asian food, but it isn't something we get a lot and we tend not to venture beyond our local favorites. We love noodles though.

It's great that they still have the carts! They're becoming a bit of rarity nowadays. This is making me so hungry now, and I cant believe you ordered chicken feet! Go girl!!!

It is great! When they bring the trolleys around, all you have to do is pick the food (even if you don't know the name), and you get to see the food before you pick it!
!LOL, chicken feet have become an all-time favorite, and so is the taro balls!!!

I've never been to a restaurant that serves Dim Sum, so I don't recognize most of the dishes. The two most intriguing, though, are the two shown below — especially the curious dish on the right! What is that...? 🤔
