Delicious beef stew with sweet potato and yucca [ENG||ESP]
HI EVERYONE
Stews are the favorite homemade dish in many homes, it is the kind of comfort food that tastes like home and cheers up the spirit, for lunch today I cooked a stew easy and quick to make, and the end result was very tasty, this stew I made gave me a juicy sauce, which I have taken advantage of and accompanied with some tubers I had at home; as usual I enjoyed the whole process of elaboration and I have captured the final result with some provocative images.
For the meat:
✓600 grams of meat (if it is tender much better).
✓Two tablespoons of crushed garlic
✓Two tablespoons of mustard
✓One tablespoon of dried oregano
✓One tablespoon of dried basil
✓Two tablespoons of coarse salt
✓Two chopped sweet peppers
✓One chopped onion
✓Three tablespoons of oil with vegetable coloring
✓One cup of waterTo accompany the meat, tubers:
✓200 grams of yucca (cassava)
✓200 grams of sweet potatoes
✓One liter of water
✓One teaspoon of table saltFor garnish:
✓Chives and chopped cilantro.
In a big pot we put all the ingredients to cook the meat, except the water; we mix everything well with our hands and turn on the stove at medium heat, we start cooking the meat with the pot covered for ten minutes, after this time we put the cup of water and move the preparation, we continue cooking the meat, now at low heat for twenty minutes and with the pot covered. Turn off the stove when the meat is soft, let it rest for five minutes before serving.
The tubers that I used were yucca and sweet potato, we must remove their skin and cut them in pieces a little smaller, to cook both tubers I put them in water with salt, and I boiled them until they were soft, then they are removed from the water and served, they are delicious spread with butter, but for this recipe I will put the sauce that I obtained from the stew of the meat.
The tubers, besides being tasty, are an excellent food, they have good nutrients which make them ideal accompaniments for a portion of meat.
I have decorated with abundant chives and a touch of fresh cilantro leaves, it is beautiful to look at and also its flavor combines very well with this stew.

Deliciosa carne guisada acompañada de batata y yuca
Los guisos son el plato preferido casero de muchos hogares, es el tipo de comida reconfortante que sabe a hogar y anima el espíritu, para el almuerzo de hoy he cocinado un guiso fácil y rápido de hacer, y el resultado final fue muy sabroso, este guiso que hice me aportó una jugosa salsa, la cual he aprovechado y acompañado con unos tubérculos que tenía en casa; como de costumbre he disfrutado todo el proceso de elaboración y he capturado el resultado final con unas imágenes provocativas.
Para la carne:
✓600 gramos de carne (si es tierna mucho mejor)
✓Dos cucharadas de ajo machacado
✓Dos cucharadas de mostaza
✓Una cucharada de orégano seco
✓Una cucharada de albahaca seca
✓Dos cucharadas de sal gruesa
✓Dos ajíes dulces picados
✓Una cebolla picada
✓Tres cucharadas de aceite con colorante vegetal
✓Una taza de aguaPara acompañar la carne, tubérculos:
✓200 gramos de yuca (mandioca o guacamota)
✓200 gramos de patatas dulces (batata)
✓Un litro de agua
✓Una cucharadita de sal de mesaPara decorar:
✓Cebollino y cilantro picado
En una olla grande colocamos todos los ingredientes para cocinar la carne, menos el agua; mezclamos bien todo con las manos y prendemos la estufa a fuego medio, comenzamos a cocinar la carne con la olla tapada por diez minutos, pasado este tiempo la colocamos la taza de agua y movemos la preparación, seguimos cocinando la carne, ahora a fuego bajo por veinte minutos y con la olla tapada. Apagar la estufa al comprobar que la carne esté blanda, dejamos reposar por cinco minutos antes de servir.
Los tubérculos que utilice fueron yuca y batata, debemos retirar su piel y cortarlos en piezas un poco más pequeñas, para cocinar ambos tubérculo los coloque en agua con sal, y los herví hasta que estuvieron blandos, luego se les retira del agua y se sirven, son deliciosos untados con mantequilla, pero para esta receta les colocare la salsa que obtuve del guiso de la carne.
Los tubérculos además de ser sabrosos son un excelente alimento, tienen buenos nutrientes lo que lo convierten en ideales acompañantes para una porción de carne.
He decorado con abundante cebollino y unos toque de hojas de cilantro fresco, queda hermoso a la vista y también su sabor combina muy bien con este guiso.
