Finding Warm Vibes On A Tired Evening

When you're exhausted, find some warmth, even if it's just a glass of spiced tea, as well as a delicious warm treat.

The older we get, of course, we will feel the time we use is getting limited. Being busy due to work or exploring new things to learn will take up a lot of energy and make our day ends with exhaustion.

Sometimes when I'm tired, I can fall asleep just like that with the situation beside me being a mess. But of course, that will not apply when the condition of the body is starving.

So, this evening I still have a little energy not to fall asleep. But frankly, it's not without reason. Because I was starving so I had to force my body to dine out.

I was planning on looking for some good food, but one I had never eaten before. Pffft, well, I can still think complicated about food choices when I'm almost out of energy. Could it be because I'm a woman? LOL.

Fortunately, I have a partner who is always ready to take me (if he is not at work). So we headed for a restaurant that was downtown. The weather was drizzling at that time.

SOBAT BINJAI RESTAURANT

This restaurant includes a large restaurant that has a large space, especially for family gatherings. Because the conditions were drizzling and it was also dark, I couldn't explore more with the design of this restaurant, especially in the outdoor area. At first glance, I did see an interesting outdoor garden area. Maybe next time I will come back to this place to see the outdoor area.

SOBAT BINJAI is like a fun garden party location from the outside. But for the indoor area, looks like a warm dining room with rustic accessories.

I like that they use lights with traditional decorations. The warm light creates peaceful vibes for visitors who do come to SOBAT BINJAI to just unwind after work (like I did).

My partner and I also chose the indoor area, and immediately looked through the menu book. The menu choices served by BUT BINJAI are quite diverse with various textures. Starting from soup, steak, fried rice, and noodles.

For food, I chose “Dori Steak” with mushrooms sauce. Meanwhile, for drinks, I chose not coffee or juice this time, but I chose ginger tea with “Wedang Jahe” spices.

SINGLE DORI STEAK

SOBAT BINJAI is quite good because it serves Dori Steak, which I have never found in a local restaurant in the area where I live. So this restaurant which is still relatively new in my area is a good choice to try to explore the flavors of food that I have not found in other restaurants.

A glimpse of Dori Steak is quite convincing. Then I tried slice by slice of the dory meat. Turns out it tasted pretty good! You know, the price for this menu is only $1.5 and I'm quite satisfied with the taste!

The outside texture of Dori Steak turns out to be crispy, while the inside is soft, and without a fishy smell. That's a good sign :)

The taste of the mushrooms sauce is also just right, with the right combination of sweet and salty. Not over sweet like I found in steak sauce in another dining place. So, that's really pretty good!

GINGER TEA

Here comes the hero for my tiring evening! This ginger spice tea is so warm, also sweet but not overly sweet.

The scent of lemongrass is also refreshing and it feels like we are in an aromatherapy candle area. The right choice of drinks this evening when compared to my other favorite drinks such as coffee.

This drink for $1, is quite affordable and deliciously warm, makes me feel relieved, and recharges my energy again.

Overall, I was satisfied to come and enjoy the food at SOBAT BINJAI at that time. The vibes are calm and warm. I will return to this place, of course, because the price of food in this restaurant is also quite cheap and affordable compared to other places to eat in this class/type of restaurant.
