This morning, after dropping my son off at school, my husband and I planned to watch planes landing at Mai Khao Beach. We decided to park at Nai Yang Beach and take a leisurely walk along the shore, as the two beaches are connected. Upon arriving at Nai Yang Beach, which is located within Sirinat National Park in Sakhu Subdistrict, Thalang District, Phuket, we were greeted by its serene beauty. This beach, situated close to Phuket International Airport, has become a popular spot for plane spotting. While it doesn’t offer the up-close view of planes like Mai Khao Beach, you can still enjoy watching them from a distance in this peaceful setting. ✈️🌴✨

Inside Sirinat National Park, the surroundings are beautifully shaded by tall trees and rows of majestic casuarina pines along the beach. There’s ample parking available, making it convenient for visitors. After parking the car, we took a relaxing stroll along Nai Yang Beach before heading to watch the planes landing. The fresh morning air at Nai Yang was absolutely invigorating, making our walk even more enjoyable. 🌲🌊☀️

We strolled leisurely along the beach, taking in the beautiful surroundings and snapping some photos along the way. The weather was so pleasant that we didn’t feel tired or overheated, making the walk all the more enjoyable. 📸🌊☀️

The morning atmosphere at Nai Yang Beach was lively yet peaceful, with tourists enjoying walks, exercising, and locals fishing along the shore. I paused for a while to watch some of the fishermen casting their lines before continuing our walk along the beach. Our ultimate destination was Mai Khao Beach, just nearby, where we planned to watch the planes landing as close as possible. 🎣🌴✈️

In the early morning sunlight, the beach morning glory plants along the shore bloomed beautifully, their purple flowers standing out against the golden sand. These plants are not just lovely to look at—they also have medicinal properties. They can be used to treat jellyfish stings, making them an important part of the beach ecosystem. 🌸☀️🌊

After walking for a while, the weather started to warm up, so we decided to take a short break. Sitting down by the beach, we enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the waves and the gentle sea breeze, which helped us recharge before continuing our walk. 🌊☀️🌴

Once we had rested and regained our energy, we continued our walk toward Mai Khao Beach to watch the planes landing. Planes from all over the world were arriving at Phuket International Airport, and as we got closer to Mai Khao Beach, the sight of the planes became clearer and more exciting. ✈️🌏✨

Reaching Mai Khao Beach felt like the highlight of our morning walk. Watching the massive planes descend so closely overhead was an exhilarating experience that never gets old. The combination of the serene beach atmosphere and the thrill of plane spotting made this outing truly unforgettable. ✈️🌴🌊

Both Nai Yang Beach and Mai Khao Beach offer unique experiences, from tranquil walks surrounded by nature to the excitement of seeing planes up close.
