Un cordial saludo a todas las personas de esta red. Me presento: soy Gregory, nací el 25 de septiembre de 1990 en Guayaquil, una hermosa ciudad de Ecuador. Sin duda, Ecuador es un país maravilloso de Sudamérica, caracterizado por su gente amable y hospitalaria.

Aunque hoy estamos atravesando momentos de dificultad, tengo un gran optimismo y sé que estaremos mucho mejor.

Viví una infancia rodeado de naturaleza. Plantas, animales y cerros estaban a mi alrededor. Con curiosidad y ganas de observar todo lo que me rodeaba, comencé a explorar lo que tenía más cerca. Me di cuenta de que mi zona tenía dos estaciones: la de lluvia y la de sequía.

I lived a childhood surrounded by nature. Plants, animals and hills were around me. With curiosity and desire to observe everything around me, I began to explore what was closest to me. I realized that my area had two seasons: the rainy season and the dry season.

La época de lluvias era hermosa. En ese entonces, no había mucho crecimiento urbano, por lo que podía observar en los arroyos peces, ranas y renacuajos, así como aves que se alimentaban de ellos. También había árboles frutales, el crecimiento de pajonales, arbustos y otros tipos de plantas que crecían de manera exponencial gracias a la lluvia. Los cantos de las aves despertaban aún más mi curiosidad.

The rainy season was beautiful. At that time, there was not much urban growth, so I could observe fish, frogs and tadpoles in the streams, as well as birds that fed on them. There were also fruit trees, the growth of grasslands, bushes and other types of plants that grew exponentially thanks to the rain. The songs of the birds aroused my curiosity even more.

La escuela fue una etapa básica, con altos y bajos. La secundaria fue similar, pero a diferencia de la primaria, sentí un poco de agobio. Creo que esa es la edad más dura para descubrir quién soy y lo que la sociedad espera de mí.

School was a basic stage, with ups and downs. Middle school was similar, but unlike elementary school, I felt a little overwhelmed. I think that is the hardest age to discover who I am and what society expects of me.

En la universidad probé varias carreras y finalmente terminé una; hoy soy abogado.
In college I tried several careers and finally finished one; Today I am a lawyer.

Tuve la oportunidad de prepararme como intérprete ambiental, ser líder y guiar a muchas personas sobre la importancia del empoderamiento para cuidar su entorno y vivir de mejor manera, respetando la naturaleza y todas sus formas de vida, especialmente en ecosistemas frágiles como el bosque seco tropical de la costa ecuatoriana.

I had the opportunity to prepare as an environmental interpreter, be a leader and guide many people on the importance of empowerment to take care of their environment and live in a better way, respecting nature and all its forms of life, especially in fragile ecosystems such as the tropical dry forest. of the Ecuadorian coast.

Es por eso que mi curiosidad, junto con vivir rodeado de naturaleza y apreciarla, me ha llevado a ser un apasionado de la fotografía empírica con mi móvil, capturando la belleza única del entorno.

That is why my curiosity, along with living surrounded by nature and appreciating it, has led me to be passionate about empirical photography with my mobile, capturing the unique beauty of the environment.
