This is Hive Open Mic Week #236, I welcome you all to my blog. My name is @mamab, it's been a little while since I showed my face here. Well, I believe that experience is common among many of us here 😊. There are times we seem to go on break and resume after some weeks or even months due to the demands of life.

I will say I've missed posting on hive open mic because it gives me the opportunity to always share what I have and it keeps one's brain active with thinking and calculating which song to sing that relates to the theme.

So, let's face the business of the week. The theme is "Rumors". I have been thinking about the theme and the song to sing since I saw it last week. Rumor is usually a news or a hint about something that has not been verified. It is a mixture of true and false talk.

In relation to the theme, I chose a song by Kirk Franklin titled "My life is in your hands". It is an old and popular song. The message behind the song is so powerful and never stops to minister to one anytime it is been sung. The song encourages us not to worry or be afraid. There are times that rumors are spread to frighten people and make them loose confidence in God, themselves and others. I have come to share with you that no matter how sorrow comes your way, it will not last forever, your joy is already on the way because your life is in the hands of Jesus.
