Beijing is getting better environment which is very important for living

The earth is like our life; it has its own soul, and it is dying due to our unprecedented activities that are so harmful to the earth’s stability in many perspectives, especially for all living beings. Though we behave like we know nothing and Earth can bear any consequences that we can do on the surface, it is a misconception that Earth is not responding to all our doings, whether good or bad. The whole ecosystem of the world is quite widely sustainable until our deeds extensively harm the existing sustainable cycles of the recovering process of the earth. Very few nations and countries are aware of that, but they are eagerly exploiting the resources all around the world that can affect them in the long run. In recent research, we have experienced many consequences for our irresponsible activities, such as harming the ecosystem and the stability of the earth with so many bad things for many purposes.

However, the good thing is that with environmental activists, there are many protests and awareness-raising campaigns that have been doing a great job of saving the earth from further exploitation in many ways. From the very beginning of the earth's history, people all around the world have realized the cutting trees relentlessly can bring so many difficulties for human beings, and almost all the governments of the world have taken necessary steps to stop deforestation and tree plantation programs to make the situation better by increasing the forest area of the world. Also, many chemicals around the world have been banned due to excessive risks to human health, and there is still a lot of research to reduce chemical use in agricultural and food-preserving sectors or introduce less harmful or healthy-friendly chemicals in the industry.

If I am not wrong, the most difficult and severe problem facing the earth now is the emission of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide (CO2), which is the biggest challenge to tackle. The development speed of this century to uplift our civilization requires too much energy to exploit, and unfortunately, most of the resources are fossil fuels that emit too much carbon gases into the environment, and the effect of greenhouse gases is increasing significantly all around the world. The rising temperature, extreme weather, so many natural calamities, rising sea levels, and destruction in the animal chains of foods are the major suffering facts that the world is suffering now.

Thus, carbon neutralization of nations is now very important, and many nations are working very hard to gain the achievement in this century to save the earth for human beings. As countries like the USA, China, the EU, and Russia are the major players in burning fossil fuels, they have to come first to solve the issues, and then other smaller countries can also join them.

The initiative taken by China is really praiseworthy in that perspective of what I realized in the last 5 years in Beijing. China has set its carbon neutralization by the end of 2060, as far as I remember, and they are really working on their goal. If I compare it with the forestry in Beijing, it is like a miracle for me to think how a megacity like Beijing has so much forest land with a huge population also. I can still remember that the winter in Beijing was less clear than now. I am enjoying all of these due to their forest plans almost everywhere. In the surrounding area near my institute, I have seen that the government has made more green parks than the building constructions in area or numbers in both cases.

Also, I read a news recently that another megacity of China, Shanghai, has a plan to create 1000 parks in the city by the end of this decade. And they have already finished the completion of more than 800 parks in the city area! Can you imagine how fast they are working to save the environment and to ensure healthy surroundings? Also, you can hear the stories of Beijing's dusty weather a decade ago, which was the most polluted air in the cities of the world, but now, most of the time, the air is among the cleanliest cities in the world. I have seen their effort to lessen the oil-burning vehicles through many subsidies for EV bikes, and EV cars are getting too much popularity here.

My final saying is that they have the extreme capability to materialize a good plan very fast, and the people had to maintain the rules and regulations strictly, which endured the implication of the public awareness so fast and made the situation better very fast. But still, they need too much work to protect the environment, which is the power hour of the world’s manufacturing industry.
