My Vegetable Garden - Part 2

avatar

Continuing with my Vegetable garden, I must tell you that growing your own food brings immense joy and satisfaction. Earlier in my life I never imagined I would be doing all of this myself. Honestly, I never had much of sense and I was so disconnected from nature. It is only in the last 15 years that my whole thought process and ways of life have changed and I am so happy that these realizations and awareness have come to me.

To be very honest, gardening is not my expertise yet so I do take a lot of help and I make sure I am equally involved in growing my garden and not just watch it grow being managed by others. Well, when I am in Muscat I have no choice but to leave it on the gardener, but while I am there I make it a point to do all of it myself.

Getting into some action in my garden. I love this connection with nature and mother Earth, it keeps me grounded.

That's the Cardamom plant. I am not only looking at growing veggies, I want to grow herbs also. I have good amount of space so I can make best use of it.

That's the drumsticks tree also known as moringa. Moringa leaves have very good health benefits. Always wanted this one in my garden.

This is when it was just planted, and with it there is a lemon plant also.

That's all about my vegetable garden. I will be able to share good updates on my garden with pictures somewhere now in mid dec, because the pictures I get from my gardener are very poor quality and it does not even show properly the progress of my garden. Though I keep doing a video call with him regularly to check the regular progress.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Same here ma'am, I'm not a fan of gardening but maybe just like you, I would find myself having an interest in gardening too. Soon.😊

It's nice that you find yourself putting your heart into gardening ma'am.😊

There's this joy that comes with cultivating your own food. I recently got on tomatoes and peppers, different varieties of pepper. But I guess I started too late as they are yet to grow into bearing fruit and the weather is starting to make them wither. Any how, would start again next year because I'm not giving up 😌

You are 100% correct Ma'am @nainaztengra that growing own food brings immense joy and satisfaction. It also saves money and gives the assurance that the food is healthy and organic. 😊
