My Sweet Day in Zoom, Bangkok

I have sweet tooth. I love all sorts of cakes, sweets, ice cream...
Hardly I can resist not to taste if I am offered something new. For about two or three months last year I was forced to stop eating sweets, just limited quantities of dark chocolate, because my cholesterol level was very high, combined with high blood pressure. The diet and the medication helped to lower them and now I again indulge myself in the sea of sweets.
Very seldom I will roll my sleeves and do something in the kitchen. My hubby is the chef at home and I always remind myself how good it will be to start making more and better photos of his creations.
This will be something to think about for future posts.
For my first Sweet Day I wish to share two desserts we had in Zoom rooftop restaurant in Bangkok.
If you look at the manu the desserts were called Sweet Elements.
My choice was the Ocean
OCEAN Pineapple / Coconut / Malibu Picture the unmistakable ocean spray while savouring this sweet treat. This Pina Colada inspired plate is accented with edible sand and chocolate shells.
A very light dessert and very, very delicious.
My son's choice was Wood
WOOD Sour Cherry / Dark ChocolateChocolate Cake / Nitro KirschTake your taste buds on a journey through this modern and decadent interpretation of a traditional Black Forest cake. This deconstructed delight is presented as a forest and completed with nitro kirsch espuma.
The way it was presented was awesome.

It was misty and mystical serving the dessert by the chef himself.
It was absolutely delightful and delicious all that we had that night, but the desserts were real showstoppers.
If you wish to visit Zoom rooftop restaurant in Bangkok you would not regret. Exquisite food and perfect service will be offered there.
