Gestern hatte ich ein sehr interessantes „Gespräch“ mit meiner besten Freundin bzw. schickte sie mir eine Sprachnachricht, die mich zum Nachdenken anregte.

Sie schickte mir aus Chile eine Nachricht, wo sie mir erklärte, wie nett sie zu ihren Mitarbeitern ist und das obwohl dies alles Freelancer sind und eigentlich gar keine Mitarbeiter bzw. Angestellten von ihr sind. Sie erzählte mir von einer „Kundin“ mit der sie auch Privates ab und zu austauscht. Es ist die Marketingmanagerin eines Unternehmens in der Schweiz und wird dort richtig gefordert. Kommt vorne und hinten mit dem Geld nicht zurecht, muss auch oft in der Freizeit und somit am Wochenende für das Unternehmen arbeiten. Ist quasi 24 Stunden 7 Tage die Woche für die Firma da und ist weit unterbezahlt. usw. usw. usw.

Erst aufgrund meiner Freundin und dem Beistand, fragte diese Mitarbeiterin bei der Chefin zwecks Gehaltserhöhung an und die Chefetage kam ihr mit bedingten Vorraussetzungen entgegen.

Wieviel Menschen kennst Du denen es ähnlich geht? 24 Stunden für den Job da. Oft dann noch zwei Nebenjobs, um zu überleben und zu leben. Familie kommt zu kurz und und und. Wie viele Menschen kennst Du, die dies so mehr oder weniger täglich erleben (müssen).

Was bedeutet für Dich Freiheit?

Meine beste Freundin, auch Haus und Hofagentur für alle graphischen Sachen, predigt ihren „Mitarbeitern“, dass diese sich doch zum Wochenende frei nehmen sollen, um sich zu Erholen. Wie kann man am Wochenende arbeiten?

Klar bei wichtigen Dingen, muss man schon auch mal am Wochenende ran. Grundsätzlich sei aber das Wochenende für Erholung da. Es sind nicht einmal ihre Angestellten. Es sind Freelancer mit denen sie zusammenarbeitet.

Tja und während sich die eine Marketingmanagerin zu Tode arbeitet, lebt meine beste Freundin in „Freiheit“. Warum? Sie hat ano dazu mal eine Entscheidung getroffen. Sie ist aus dem „Hamsterrad“ ausgebrochen und lebte Jahre als digitale Nomadin und bereiste die Welt. Klar sie hat auch Pflichten und muss dieses und jenes machen, um zu leben. Jedoch sie kann es sich Einteilen. Sie kann ortsunabhängig Arbeiten und das Leben mit allen Tiefen und Höhen genießen ...

Nun wie siehst Du das? Wie ist das bei Dir?

Bist Du auch 9 to 5 im Job gefangen? Oder weit über diese Zeit für das Unternehmen in Deiner Freizeit da?

Ich sehe das als „Freelancer“ ein wenig anders und finde es durchwegs okay auch einmal am Wochenende zu arbeiten. Warum? Weil ich es mir einteilen kann. Ich gehe es zwar am Wochenende oft langsamer an, jedoch liebe ich was ich tue und arbeite gerne auch einmal am Samstag oder Sonntag.

Wass bedeutet nun für Dich Freiheit?
Wie siehst Du das?

Für mich bedeutet Freiheit = Lifestyle. Nämlich das tun zu können, wozu ich gerade Lust habe. Sich auch einmal spontan eine Auszeit nehmen zu können. Tja und letztendlich mit Spaß an der Sache an den Zielen zu Arbeiten.

Heute ist wieder ein guter Tag, um genau dieses zu machen.

I see it as a "freelancer" a little differently and find it consistently okay to work even once on the weekend. Why? Because I can schedule it. I often take it slower on weekends, but I love what I do and like to work on Saturday or Sunday.

For me freedom means lifestyle. Namely, being able to do what I feel like doing. To be able to take time out spontaneously. Well, and finally to work on the goals with fun in the matter.
