It's Halloween!
I have a couple of photos of Halloween decorations that I intended to share today, but first wanted to show you what the view is out my front door this morning.
It is still snowing and the wind is blowing. It took me a minute to figure out why my front walkway looks all lumpy, and then I realized that it was because of leaves on the sidewalk.
But now, on to Halloween!
This little dog was barking at the guy he spotted standing in the yard!

Isn't a bit early for snow?
The earliest snow in recent memory was on November 20th. This is much too early! There is more on the way tonight.
I hope you're safe and this is going to melt quickly. We had two rainy days and I didn't like it. Now it's sunny again but it's chilly. Let's hope winter is still far, although meteorologists say we're going to have a tough winter. ☹️
I hope we have some mild November and December days ahead, although I see snow forecast for tonight and every single day next week. I feel like winter has descended!

Yeah... Snow blobs. It is still snowing. I am feeling a bit victimized here. Most places far to the north don't have snow yet!
Oddly enough 🤔 it's rather warmer than normal where I am 🤷♀️...!!! today. If was colder I would definitely be getting snow and lots of it.
But I know that can and will change in a heart beat..!
I hope you don't get victimized too bad..!!!! There's plenty of time soon enough for that.

They canceled Halloween in my town. Very heavy rain and very strong gusty winds...! Colder temps coming in.
They announced mid morning that Halloween was still on here. I doubt it will be a successful candy hunt for most of them. The wind has died down some, so that will be helpful.

I agree. Better to stay indoors. Although it would be cute to see some ghost kids on winter clothes. I would wonder how one will pull that off. 🤔
They often have to wear winter coats and then you can't see their costumes! They will be wearing coats tonight, for sure!

This decoration looks great .. here in germany people also started to celebrate it nowadays .. actually tommorow we have "Allerheiligen" in germany, a christian holliday, but most of the youngsters believe they have a national holliday so that they can have a resting day after their Halloween parties, not knowing anything about Allerheiligen at all ^^

Howdy Melinda! Fantastic Halloween shots! I love that classic door design on the second photo, we had one exactly like that in our house in Akron, it was built in 1929.
But the Halloween themes are wonderful.
I love 20s architecture. My favorite house was art deco and I had to sell it when I could no longer manage the steps

I don't see why not! Sounds like travel to me, but I'm no expert on that one. I very seldom use that tag.
No Halloween happens at my house, and with the snow and cold it was a quiet night all over town.
The dang snow put a damper on the holiday, I'm sure lots of kids were disappointed. Now that I have 7 tags to use I don't know what to put in there. lol. Do you have any plans for the weekend?
Beautiful snow and your decorations look creepy, so much so that even the dog stared and thought: "What is that?" It is a sign that you did well.

That reminds me of the Halloween Blizzard of... 1997? It was when I was a teenager, anyway. I remember over a foot of snow fell. Ugh!
I don't remember that one! It must have been a Minnesota thing! 🤔
Yeah, that was a fun year to go out treating... Lol
One year, when living in Eau Claire, we had a couple major snowfalls. The snowbanks were over 6' tall, and businesses were clearing their sidewalks in only about 3' corridors. It was like waiting through trenches and you had to be really cautious at corners. Here's hoping this winter isn't like that one!
I'm ready to hibernate now if this keeps up!
