I'm Thinking About Introducing Myself
To be honest, I'm not a newbie when it comes to blogging on Steemit. This is my 3rd account and previously I was using @n4zriofficial and @n4zrizulkafli. Both of those failed to make me stay true to my predetermined objectives of making consistent top quality health niche content on the Steemit platform. Well, can't really blame myself since I was busy studying for my final exam. Fortunately for me, I passed and now, I'm a doctor (MD from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia).
If you were wondering
My name is Mohammad Nazri Bin Zulkafli (you can call me Nazri) and I've been away from Steemit for quite a long time already. I remember from the last time when Steem currency was valued at 2++ USD and now (at the point of me, writing this article) it is at 0.13 USD. I wonder what happen but nevermind. I don't really care about the money, or else, I won't be coming here.
My content would focus on health-related niches. I have set up a Wordpress blog powered by Steempress plugin to ensure that people would find my content easily (by implementing SEO tactic and stuff). Well, I mean, soon. Obviously, now my site is empty and don't hold any value to it. It will be filled with top quality content soon enough. I hope this would be the last time I'm making a new Steemit account. I'm tired of starting from zero already.
Why did I create a new account and not continue where I am you asked? Well, the reasoning behind it is quite petty but to hell with it. I would like the domain name of my blog and the prefix for my Steemit domain to be the same or in this case, almost the same. Yes, you could check out my site here, I designed it myself with some bits of help from useful Wordpress plugins.
Health-related content and how it helps the growth of this platform
Well, apart from money-making blogs, health-niche content has been regarded as one of the most popular topics searched on the web. Not surprisingly, since people easily freaked out or scared for their life when they had a mole or something. I'm not saying it is irrelevant either. The best thing about articles that would be included here is the fact that it is written by someone who is familiar with the niche.
However, I'm neither veteran nor experienced doctor thus some info might seem weird or wrong but you can always check out my references. If there are mistakes (major or minor) related to it, you are welcome to give me criticism. Writing articles related to the health niche can be a good thing for me as a life-long learner. Tonnes of new researches are conducted every single day and those can potentially influence the way we understand medicine.
To be fair, being active on my blog and in this platform can do can helps, a bit, though it's not always significant in terms of traffic and platform visibility. It's especially true if I can employ the right SEO set up making it possible for me to shoot my content to the first page of Google search result. Well, I do hope one day I can achieve that. It'll not be easy and I'm sure some of them would require some serious bucks. I'll try to do it as free as I can.
Some of the content here would be translated into my native language, Bahasa Melayu and would be displayed in my own personal blog. So much thing to do, so little time. Well, I better start now, eh?
My 2020 resolution for my health-niche blog
Though 2020 is still 2 days away, these are some of my new year resolution pertaining to my blog and content:
- I would write as much as I can. The least I could do is to provide 4 articles per week.
- Each article would be between 900 to 1,200 tops. It can be less than 900 but no lesser than 600. I believe a good article is concise and on point.
- I wouldn't do any shit to my Steem Power. I would allow it to grow as much as it can.
- I would use any profits earned from this platform to pay for my hosting services. However little they are.
- I would be actively involved with health-related articles written by fellow Steemians or Steemers, whichever you prefer. I'll try to give some constructive criticism whenever I can.
- I would include every research that I used as my content material. It can be found in the references section at the bottom of my article's content.

Sounds like you've got a pretty good plan already! Think there'll be plenty of opportunities for good health content with communities. Also, I think having your own blog that you can grow the SEO of will help too.
