HAPPIER NOW THAN EVER _ (Contest #212)

Hello exquisite ladies of hive. It's been a while I posted here and I am much elated about participating this time and to answer the questions:

Do you believe that we are happier today, than we were in times gone by?

I will take this more personal than general. Giving a clear comparison between now and the past is a thing I like to be honest about and each time I am done reminiscing over everything in general, I end up finding myself teary and that's because I am overwhelmingly happy over the significant changes, the transformation, the comfort, the joy and the peace I am enjoying at present while looking forward to even a more assured future.

Coming from an insignificant background full of struggles and hardships makes my past a thing I would never wish for anymore. I can't forget how difficult it was then to have a good meal, live in a serene environment, talk more of being able to attend a good school like my age mates. There were too many things to cry about!

Life is a lot better now, I am happier than I was in times past and I am NEVER going back there!
