Wie ich von Windows und Androide zu Appel gekommen bin (Teil 1) / How I got to Appel from Windows and Android (Part 1) [German / English]

Hallo zusammen

Hier kommt nun der erste Teil der Geschichte wie ein Windows und Android Fan zum Appel Anhänger geworden ist.

Um in diesen Artikeln genau und objektiv darzustellen, wie ich zu Appel gekommen bin, möchte ich in diesem Teil als erstes noch einiges über meine Person darlegen. Dieses heißt über meine Hobbys und Interessen, aber auch etwas über mein “Wesen”.

Noch ein wenig über mich und meine Hobbys und Berufe

Wie ich bereits in meinem ersten Blog geschrieben hatte bin ich, Beruflich ein Hochbautechniker, welcher aller dings aus dem Straßenerhaltungsdienst kommt.

Durch meine verschiedene Interessen, in meinem Beruflichen Leben, in dem ich nun zum Ausbilder bei einem Bildungsträger geworden bin. Spiegelt sich meine Neugier auf neues in dem Bereichen der Multimedialen Medien und Ausdrucksweise. Dieses soll heißen ich bin bereits vor ca. 30 Jahren zum Fotografieren gekommen und 5 Jahre später ergab sich die Gelegenheit meinen ersten PC zu kaufen, mit DOS und Windows 3.

Hier konnte ich nun auch Grafiken Digital erstellen, nicht nur zeichnen, sondern auch über verschiedene Programmiersprachen erstellen zu lassen. Das war eine tolle Sache, für einen grade mal 25 Jährigen Ehemann und Vater, heutigen Großvater.

Auch die Möglichkeit ab Windows 3.11 CAD - Zeichnungen anfertigen zu können, ergab garnicht die Frage ob es noch andere Betriebssysteme gab oder gibt.

Erst um das Jahr 2020, nach dem es fest steht das Windows 10 durch Windows 11 abgelöst werden soll, stellte sich mir die Frage: Muss ich mir nun zwangsweise einen neuen Rechner kaufen um auf Windows 11 umzustellen oder wird Win 11 noch auf meinem 1 Jahre alten Rechner laufen?

Hierzu muss ich noch erwähnen, das ich im Jahr 2019 durch meine Tochter mit der Apple Welt in Kontakt gekommen bin. Sie erwarb ein iPhone; wohin ich noch ein Android Handy mein eigen nannte. Und grade dieses iPhone und dessen Geschichte brachte mich zum Nachdenken, vor allem über den, doch gravierenden Unterschied, der zwei Welten von Windows und iOS.

Ich muss dazu sagen das es mir schon immer Wichtig ist, das der Umgang mit einem Rechner in Verbindung mit einem Smartphone, Tablet und oder Notebook im Bereich Daten abgleich, einen sehr hohen Stellenwert hat.

Sicherlich ist dieses mit verschiedenen Softwarelösungen auch zwischen Windows und Android möglich, jedoch nicht so “Komfortabel” und durchdacht wie in der Apple Welt. Dieses immer aus der Sicht eines Hobby Grafikers, Fotografen und auch Video Erstellers.

Aber auch die Produktivität steigert sich in der Welt von Apple, den hier ist alles auf diese ausgelegt. Dieses jedoch in einem anderen Artikel. Nun zurück zu meiner “Geschichte”.

Als ich nun in Kontakt mit dem iPhone kam musste ich feststellen das einiges, im Umgang, Einfacher ist. So das ich mir im Jahr 2022 ein iPone 13 Max gekauft habe.

Da ich mir, durch dem gewünschten Wechsel auf Win 11, auch einen neuen Rechner hätte kaufen müsste, entschied ich mich dann doch für eine MacBook Air. So das ich mit meinem iPad Air im September 2022 ganz in der Welt von Apple eingestiegen bin.

Here comes the first part of the story of how a Windows and Android fan became an Apple fan.

In order to present exactly and objectively in these articles how I came to Appel, I would first like to present a few things about myself in this part. This means about my hobbies and interests, but also something about my “nature”.

A little more about me and my hobbies and jobs

As I wrote in my first blog, I am a civil engineer by profession, but I come from the road maintenance service.

Through my various interests, in my professional life, in which I have now become a trainer at an educational institution. My curiosity about new things in the areas of multimedia media and expression is reflected. This means I got into photography about 30 years ago and 5 years later I had the opportunity to buy my first PC, with DOS and Windows 3.

Here I was able to create graphics digitally, not only to draw, but also to have them created using different programming languages. That was a great thing for a husband and father who was only 25 years old and is now a grandfather.

The possibility of being able to make CAD drawings from Windows 3.11 did not raise the question of whether there were or are other operating systems.

It was only around the year 2020, after it was clear that Windows 10 was to be replaced by Windows 11, that the question arose: Do I have to buy a new computer to switch to Windows 11 or will Win 11 still be on my 1 year old old computer running?

I have to mention that I came into contact with the Apple world in 2019 through my daughter. She acquired an iPhone; where I called my own Android phone. And it was precisely this iPhone and its history that made me think, especially about the serious difference between the two worlds of Windows and iOS.

I have to say that it has always been important to me that the handling of a computer in connection with a smartphone, tablet and/or notebook in the area of ​​data comparison has a very high priority.

This is certainly possible with various software solutions between Windows and Android, but not as “convenient” and well thought-out as in the Apple world. This always from the point of view of a hobby graphic artist, photographer and video creator.

But productivity also increases in the world of Apple, because everything here is designed for it. But this in another article. Now back to my “story”.

When I came into contact with the iPhone, I had to realize that some things were easier to use. So that I bought an iPone 13 Max in 2022.

Since I would have had to buy a new computer due to the desired switch to Win 11, I then decided on a MacBook Air. So that I entered the world of Apple with my iPad Air in September 2022.
