Record in losing streaks

I lost my duolingo streak again. The reason: I got sick over the weekend and what I had least wanted to study.
That is why I was also a bit inactive, until today I feel better.
I must also maintain the activity of work a bit low, to be able to rest this Sunday.
So what I thought is that best for me is to rest more than a streak of the app. If I rest and take care of myself, I recover faster. Instead, if I don't, I will feel worse.
Which is quite curious. Before, he said that those people who send rest for a flu in a cartoon exaggerate. Being in a bed lying? How for what?
But, after the Covid, every change, I did not see the flus in the same way, and rest, less.
So I dedicated myself to rest a little. My PC (where I work daily, sometimes even on Sundays) remained off. My phone only for the necessary use, such as reporting sick in virtual work, or sending some messages. I only stayed in bed for the rest, and then get up, because I thought I would feel worse if I spent all day there.
I watered the plants, and kept the day calm.
The problem is that I had a lot of work to do and now I have everything behind. The important thing is that now I am better and that, honestly, I am more interested. I know that I can work and do everything in a day activating the "beast mode", or, do everything slowly, but, feel worse for not taking care of a silly flu, oh no! That would be bad.
Rest, and here we are, to start the gusts again. I just felt a little sadness for not being able to start the February streak in Hive.
Creating a daily post.
I'm sorry, guys, I didn't have anything interesting about which to write. I only thought about how my body and the thousand and one way of complaining, a classic in painful flu, hurt.
Although I know that gusts are a good motivation (which I like very much, by the way), I think it is also not bad to lose them. Because the most important thing is that we are fine. After that you can continue again.

It's ok. I don't write daily and it shouldn't be something you feel like you have to do unless you made it your goal I guess. For me, I just write and try to enjoy it. Try to keep my grammar and writing skills in touch I guess~

I set out to have a hive streak of writing daily, but, hey, it's hard when you get sick hahaha
ya it happens. Now gotta readjust a new goal. I think 5-6 days a week is good enough. Gives some leeway for potential situations like getting sick :D
It's good that you feel better now, it's horrible when you have a bad body due to a virus, but well, that's life. If the "beast mode" was turned off for a few days.. to turn it back on then (made me laugh that part hahahaha) worverina 😁.
