My Favorite Food with My Favorite Persons

Do you like Dimsum or Shumai ? What’s the first thing that you think when you hear the words Dimsum or Shumai ? I thought about soft, full of meat and a little chewy.

Dimsum or shumai is a food that originates from China. Dimsum is a food made from a mixture of chicken or shrimp wrapped in dimsum skin and then steamed or some are fried. Then eaten with special sauce or chili oil. For me, dimsum is one of my favorite foods, whether steamed or fried. In my city, there is a delicious dimsum restaurant that serves a menu of various dimsum preparations. The restaurant called Haikou Dimsum.

Dimsum or Shumai

In this blog, I share my pleasant experience eating my favorite Dimsum in Haikou Dimsum. The menus served at this restaurant are quite diverse. I looked at the menu book for quite a long time. Because all the dimsum preparations are tempting for me to try.

My order this time fell on Chicken Shumai, Mayonaise Fried Shrimp Dumplings and Mentai Chicken Shumai. None of the menus I ordered failed in terms of taste or appearance.

The Chicken Shumai is full of meat and tender, the size is also quite large. The Mentai Chicken Shumai is also delicious, it turns out the mentai sayce goes well with dimsum and lastly the Mayonaise Fried Shrimp Dumplings are also delicious, the skin is crispy and the soft shrimp meat inside combines with the sweet, slightly sour mayonaise which is very suitable to be eaten with chili oil.

Eating favorite food with favorite persons is one of the simple joys for me. Eating accompanied by laughter and also life stories from friends is very enjoyable. While remembering the time when we were still in high school when we often hangout together. Not like now who are busy with their respective activities. But we still make time to meet occasionally. Even though we don’t see each others as often as before, we still connect with each other, that’s what true friends are.

Haikou Dimsum Restaurant

This restaurant looks simple from the outside, with one part that is iconic in green with red writing. This restaurant consists of two floors. On the first floor there are quite a lot of tables, then the second floor the place is even more spacious. They use an oriental design with a combination of green, gold, and brown. And there are also lots of hanging lights which make this restaurant look even more luxurious.

Overall, I’m very happy to have favorite Dimsum Restaurant that serve many dimsum menus with a good design of the restaurant and then a calm and comfortable atmosphere, I will come back to this restaurant.
