Museum Day. Cats
There is one thing about my job that I definitely love. It's the freedom to do my work when I want. Of course, we live in a society, so the freedom of any individual is not unlimited. But a free schedule is something I really appreciate. The thing is that I realized this only when I quit the previous one. They went even further - introduced a responsible PTO.
So, I took 1 day off during the week and turned it into a Museum Day. When it comes to museums, I don't need a party. I am free to move at my own pace. And I don't hear someone's yawn or sad sigh behind me. The older you get, the harder it is to find friends with similar interests.
The first was Sholom Aleichem Museum. Two exhibitions are presented there. The entrance fee for each is 30 hryvnias, less than 1 dollar! They are very different, so today I'll show you only one of them. And it's... CATS! 😺
The author of these handmade dolls is Ukrainian artist Margarita Bovt. What strikes me the most is the number of tiny details and how they are made. Some installations even have lighting. Hope you like cats. So look and enjoy!

It was like a delightful journey to childhood, isn't it? Sometimes I want to go back to my childhood. Do you? In times when there was so much energy and belief in miracles and magic. As a child, I had some worries - for example, how not to miss a cartoon on TV, or to avoid punishment for some prank, or how to catch the neighbor's cat. But the responsibility for my life and health and all the decisions was completely on my mother and father. I apologize for this attack of infantilism.
I had a bad dream today. Not a nightmare from which you wake up screaming. It was a world in which I felt familiar. Although what I dreamed ... it was an endless road littered with human flesh, body parts. I understood the tragedy of the situation, but I took it quite calmly. And in the morning I saw the news about the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. And again this feeling when I should be scared, but I'm not. I even called my new friend from Zaporizhzhia to ask how she felt about it. And she said the same thing. I'm trying to explain it to myself somehow. Maybe I don't believe that Russians can set up a terrorist attack on a nuclear power plant. Although they did blow up the Kakhovskaya HPP. Or maybe our psyche simply adapted to constant stress.
Anyway, it's Friday night and I hope you are having a good time with a party or in the company of your loved ones. Or with your cat and a good book.
(A book reminds me that I need new glasses.)

Cute stuff! I do roam at museums on my own on my free time, but we only have art exhibits and history, not like yours. Anyway, I believe there's one there that is Puss in Boots. It's cool! 🤗

We have many different museums, but their most valuable exhibits are now kept in a safe place because of the war and the threat of shelling. So there is enough space for art exhibits like this one.
That is a museum I could wander round quite easily. Great stuff.
Do you get the feeling there is so much fake news and false flags going about st the moment, what is it with Wagner group marching on Moscow, shooting down Russian planes. Then retreating . I give up! WTF is going on?
I don't know either. Media sell emotions rather than news lately. What we know is not enough to understand and see the whole picture. But I think that this intrigue (or secret) cannot last long. Hope so.
