Wednesday to walk through the Casco Historico of my city.

Hello friends walker of this community, here I am back, I had some time that I did not go for a walk but like this kind of excursion, since I always go out, so I took my time and even on vacation since my son is on vacation, I gave myself a few days to walk.

This time I took a walk, I took the bus from my house to the Casco Historico of my hometown Ciudad Bolivar, where there are many sites that have been part of the history of the city and at the same time of the country.

The Metropolitan Cathedral, belonging to the catholic church, an impressive architecture both outside and inside, it happens to be closed, another way I hope this open. Something that I loved about this walk is that just when I was taking the picture, the bells rang out announcing that it was 8 am.

Very close we have the Government House, public institution headquarters of whoever is governor of the city, where perhaps he meets with what they call his executive train, I have never entered, but I do not know if it will be allowed, I have always seen from the outside, its facade is also impressive.

Streets of the historic center that are still preserved houses, with its colonial style, many have already been left alone and belong to the historical and cultural heritage, others have been remodeled for public offices and others for primary schools, but always retaining the colonial structure.

Internal gardens of the Legislative Palace, another public governmental institution, I love to see gardens like this, the tree that can be seen at the end is many years old, the man told me that when the palace was built the tree was already there.

This place is called El Zanjón, one of the oldest neighborhoods of the city, it is famous because there is a house there, the famous Casa de las Tejas, it is not a very big place, most of the houses are small and made of mud, with huge stones, which are thousands of years old.

One of the almost obligatory places to visit or walk within the historic center, are these steps, which have always been white, is what makes it stand out from down the street, when we see it from there, it is the official place for the general photo of the graduates of the Universidad de Oriente.

So I finished my walk, down to the stop at the Botanical Garden, to take the bus home. Later in the afternoon I uploaded the photos to share with all of you this day of walking.

The photos of my property were taken with my Sony camera.

Hello well I do not know if movies but if they have made many documentaries, micros and many videos, the bells ring at every hour and each bell is for each hour ie at 8, sound 8 bells and so on with the other hours.
