Happy and blessed day, friends who love cooking, this time I want to share with you the preparation of a lentil soup.
Lentils are food of vegetable origin, from nature, since they are not processed. They belong to the group of starchy carbohydrates, because it is the most prevalent nutrient. In addition, they contain proteins, fiber, vitamins, phosphorus, potassium, iron and are low in fat.
These legumes are a source of energy and serve as an ingredient in stews and salads. They are good for the nervous system, regulate blood glucose levels and prevent anemia.
1/4 de lentejas.-
1 cebolla grande.
1 Zanahoria
1 ramita de apio españa
1 ramita de cilantro
1 Tomate
1 pimentón
5 dientes de ajo.

2 cucharadas de aceite
1 cucharadita de comino molido
1 cucharadita de ajo molido.

Rinse the lentils under cold water and drain, then add the drained lentils to the pot along with the water, add some cilantro and celery and cook over medium heat until the soup begins to boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 30 - 40 minutes, or until the lentils are tender.

Peel and finely chop the onion, chop the tomatoes, paprika, cilantro and garlic. Peel and dice the carrot and potato, peel the garlic.
Once the lentils are almost cooked, add the carrot and potato, add the cube and salt, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, approximately 5 - 7 minutes.
In a frying pan place the crushed garlic, add the oil, tomato, onion and paprika previously chopped, cumin and garlic powder, sauté and add it to the soup when the lentils and vegetables are cooked. add the rest of the coriander and garlic.
Cook for another 10 minutes, taste the soup and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Remove from the heat
