Today I want to share with you the recipe of a Palo a pique llanero that I made for lunch, The palo a pique is a very complete and very nutritious dish. This traditional dish can satisfy anyone who needs a good dose of energy or who has to work strenuous days of work.
Palo a pique is the combination of beans with pork and rice, I encourage you to try this powerful dish
500 gramos de Frijoles bayos
500 gramos de costilla de cerdo

1 Pimentón
4 Ajíes dulces
6 Dientes de ajo
250 gramos de arroz
1 Rama de cilantro fresco
4 cucharadas de aceite

1 cubito
500 grams of baked beans
500 grams of pork ribs
1 onion
1 tomato
1 bell pepper
4 Sweet peppers
6 cloves of garlic
250 grams of rice
1 branch of fresh coriander
4 spoonfuls of oil

Cumin
1 cube
We select the beans, discarding the branches, stones and defective beans. Then, we use a pot with water to soak the beans for a few hours before preparing the "palo a pique".
After soaking the beans, we wash them several times and drain them very well.
In a pot with enough water to cover the beans. Cook over medium heat for one hour
Wash and cut into small pieces the tomato, paprika, onion, chili peppers, cilantro and celery, crush the garlic. Wash and cut the pork ribs.
Once the beans are tender, add the pork ribs, a little cilantro and celery, stir and cook for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, add the rice and salt, stir and add the ice cube and cook for 20 minutes.
In a frying pan, place the oil to prepare a sauce with the previously chopped seasonings and season with pepper and cumin.
Then, add the stew to the beans, add the rest of the cilantro and celery and mix well. Cook for 10 minutes. Rectify the flavor.
